Where and with who did C. I. Scofield study theology? I heard last night on a sermon from sermonaudio.com that Scofield picked up the notes for his Bible from the works the William Kelly, JN Darby's right hand man...is that true? I'm not attacking at all, just looking for more historical info on the early writters in dispensational thought.

Canfield's book mentions James H. Brookes, founder of the Niagra Bible Conferences. Brookes in turn was influenced by Darby.

Yes, you are correct. His "Bible" was bank rolled by the Plymouth Brethern who invented Dispensationalism.
