The treatment works by taking a sample of the patients blood and extrating a T type white blood cell. This is genetically engineered to give it a "cancer tracking" ability. Over two weeks the cell is multipled one thousand fold and then injected back into the patient. Its been tested so far on lung, bowl and pacrause cancers in live patients with astonishing success, and could therotically be used to destory any type of cancer. Whats more, the treatment doesn't involve killing unborn children and so aviods one of the major pitfalls of genetic engineering. The scientists researching it say it will be ready for deployment within a decade.
