I hope I'm misunderstanding, but you seem to be saying that for our lives to have meaning there must be hereditary diseases. What is the meaning of our life here?
I don't see how that follows, surely you've experienced someone intervening in the life of another for the better, out of love?

These folks believe contradictory, impossible nonsense because they are terrified of the truth of their own scale in the universe and their own death. They cling to their doctrines, dogmas and holy books because they have no faith. They cannot make the transition. They deny truth and reason, and cling to their idols and images.

I fail to understand what kind of necessary meaning one can only derive from suffering. And if this is the case, then it's a massively imprecise tool.
