I knew as soon as I saw the name that a forum called Evolution Fairytale would probably be run by Fred Williams. Is that where you are getting so many incorrect ideas about evolution and science? I remember Fred from the late 90's even before that incident on OCW when he was both posting and secretly moderating. If I had time I would go over there and try correct some of the obvious errors I saw on a brief perusal but I don't think I would last long a a board Fairytale Fred moderates anyway. I am sure there are a few other people here who have interesting memories of Fred.

That post you linked is from someone named Taikoo, not Hespera. I'm also pretty certain that their posting styles are very different. I'm also not sure that Hespera is Chinese, and (sorry Hes) I'm pretty sure that Hespera is quite a bit older than that poster.

I might also be wrong.

Nope that is me. Taikoo / Hespera. Same fibula broken in the same number of pieces from the same car at the same time. Dunno whats the problem supposed to be here but forum rules suggest not responding to harassment and flaming so i wont say anything further about that post.

I don't know if it was a faux pas (I'm assuming it was), standard rhetoric, or what.

On the other hand, perhaps evolution teaches we have souls.

I don't know, but trying to find out is starting to be an exercise in futility here.
