Science insulting the image of Jesus

Well, as much as anyone can tell: He's too dark, His nose is too short, He doesn't look enough like the shroud of Turin hoax and He looks like a criminal. But don't bother asking what "a criminal" looks like you'll just get his resume, maybe an anecdote about going on a picnic, possibly a sermon by his patron saint R. W. Shambach or a video of a lady speaking in tongues or more likely his vid on why Jesus looks like a modern Jew from Israel. In other words: no answer of a simple question.

I do not mind images of Jesus done by people who have experienced Jesus in the heart.... But a group of scientist who are most undoubtedly atheist will get the image wrong every time!

So...it's wrong because you don't like the people who did it? Could you post the names and religious affiliations (or lack there of) of the people who did the work? It would seem that if you're going to dismiss what they say because you don't think they're Christian enough you must know them pretty well.

If E = mc2 then we can divide and conclude that...
Mass (m) = Energy (E/c2)
And there are three varieties...
Natural E/c2 - All mass is basically cooled plasma
Mental E/c2 - Mentally, A mathematical formula, but this has chemical and spiritual properties as well.
Spiritual E/c2 - E (motivation, warmth, love, grace) / c2 (faith, hope, charity, joy)
Comparing the light and the darkness, the opposite of E/c2 would be z (absolute zero)/ d (darkness)...
Spiritual E/c2 - E (motivation, love, warmth, grace) / c2 (faith, hope, charity, joy)
Spiritual z/d - z (laziness, warmth, hatred, crude / d (fear, despair, greed, sorrow)
The Flesh - What is pride, ego, adultery... Tame a few... Is this light or darkness??? a distortion of the true light?
A correct spiritual E/c2 is an important ally to the Christian faith. Since the scientist do not know the Christ on a spiritual basis they will get it wrong everytime... Instead of the proper warmth, love, and grace they will paint up a crude image. A spirit filled Christian will not do this but their image will paint the Christ in the appropriate spiritual image.

When imaging the Lord Jesus it is important to capture the spiritual graces. In which the shroud of Turin does... I would say that also, compared to Jim Caviezel and the old historian Josephus we are very close here...

To be taught for thousands of years the picture on the right is what Jesus looked like and then have people put clues together and say he more than likely could possibly look like the person on the right is an insult to some.
I'm sorry if some think that finding out the truth is an insult. Only people in the west have been taught Jesus looked like the guy on the left. If you are from Japan he is protrayed as looking Japanese. If you are from countries in Africa he is portrayed as looking like Africans. Every culture has their own bias.
Jesus was from the middle east. He would have looked like people from the middle east. He would not have been a blue-eyed, blond-haired white guy with beautifully groomed hair.

Our patron saint in these mountains is Robert Sayers Sheffey. When he was a young man he helped a doctor with a epidemic that swept the area. When a lady looked into Roberts eyes she made the following request...

In which, we who are Christian can tell when the countenance of God is on someones face, including someone trying to depict the Lord Jesus Christ...

I must say that I have never had a problem with an image of Jesus with those of whom this site considers Orthodox. But with the science version I am like... Who is this guy?

The "image" of the man is irrelevant and your quote does not at all support giving His image a second thought. It is a very good thing His image is completely irrelevant since none of us will ever have even a good clue what He looked like while we walk this earth.
The teachings and sacrifice of Christ are paramount.

But other then telling people He didn't look like someone people would be interested in that's about it. Which if you think about it, that would sort of indicate the very picture you claim is insulting would fall very neatly into that category. It appears you've just proven your own OP wrong....so, thanks for that.
