  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

One of my teachers, I just had that vibe about him that he was a wizard and many of the students in my class thought so too. At first I couldnt put my finger on it, but it was there..and i had encountered it before in one of my teachers in high school.
Goodbook, have you talked to someone face-to-face about these thoughts?

Just because you think someone is a wizard does not make them one in actuality. If you are accusing someone of witchcraft and also abusing their authority as a teacher to le ad students to dabble in the dark arts..... that is pretty slanderous. If you have no actual proof, and all of this is juststuff you made up in your head because you didn't like a teacher..... that's not right and it's not how Christians should act. There are more mature ways to handle not liking a teacher or professor than accusing them of witchcraft.

Its funny, its school holidays, which means time off, to do homework, and still have to go to school. I don't get a break.
Well, now I've decided I'm just going to drop one of my courses as I don't think this distance thing is working out with this particular provider. I think I would get more (free) education if I joined a society instead, and asked mentors who aren't running a course for wisdom.
The other course I'm learning a lot from. Its a pity we don't have a Kew Gardens here, if I lived in England they actually have proper botanical garden schools I would enrol. Here its all a bit slapdash. I wasn't impressed with the course material, some of it out of date and from another country even.

What is your goal in taking these classes?

And in the real world, people don't get "holidays" focused on fun only. Even if you have a job where you don't work holidays like I do (hospitals stay open and people stay sick), a mom is cooking like crazy for a family holiday or dad gets to spend his time off sitting at some family member's home "visiting" instead of going fishing or whatever really is his preferred relaxation activity.

What are you hoping to do after you finish these classes? Do you work currently? :)

another school holiday, well one day, due to a chess tournament. Hooray!
Time to bone up on Assertive Discipline.

One of my friends is a school teacher, in fact a few of them are in primary and kindergartens, but I haven't found my niche yet. Maybe its writing books, but not textbooks. One day it will all become clear.

Teaching is something either you pursue with a passion or you don't because you don't want to be the grumpy school teacher who hates their job but doesn't mercifully quit to do something else their talents are better suited for. There's many teachers who I think..are not good teachers, but then again, many students aren't focussed enough because their primary life teacher - their parents, neglected the job.

And then theirs the whole bureaucracy of the govt education system to contend with. Sometimes learning is something you need the holy spirit to teach you with the Bible as there's literally nobody else.
