If we compare Australia, Canada and the United Kindom to the United States (three countries that are arguably closest to us culturally), they have far fewer murders, far less crime, and fewer Christians.

After studying this in depth for years now I've found some things out that explain school shootings and what the solution is and is not.

For starters school shootings have been happening since the early 1900s. Obviously not at this rate of course today. However in the last two decades, they have doubled every decade. And what is the correlation of this? Americans views. Before Columbine things were starting to change in how america worked. From politics to "morality" such as lifestyle choices, abortion and other subjects. One thing I remember is when Ellen had her tv show and it was the first LGBT tv show of its kind on tv really.

Now not blaming LGBT of course. However since then the general christian views that were more or less in place were becoming lessened. Its also around the time we started taking God out of schools, out of government buildings...etc. And with each year things got worse. In the last decade alone schools shootings are up double what they were before. And likewise so were moral views of this country.

The christian has been pushed more aside in terms of whats normal and whats not. Weed, LGBT, abortion, gender, super-feminists and other issues have been more normal now and those against those things are being looked down on. .

This is BS. Christians can go to church and take a bunch of bible classes. If Christians are failing, it's the church and Christians own fault. Maybe if churches and Christians weren't afraid of spending money. They would have more bible study programs before school starts .And after school. They could try to get more Christians into Christian school. But they don't want to spend the extra money . They rather get more money. So they get any one willing to pay for Christian school. Leaving Christians going to public schools.

So in short the devil had made sure his morals are corrupting more of america. And as that happens. More bad things seem to happen. Including kids who are confused and angry since at school you can't even be yourself if you are not for even one of the "normal views". This is why school shootings are increasing. The country is going downhill. We are paying the price for abandoning God and accepting more world views.

Then don't abandon God. You are the parent of your kid. So Grow up. and don't abandon God. Schools shouldn't have to force your kids to believe in God. That's what parent should be doing.

Now how is this solved? Well many people talk about guns, guns and more guns. But despite assault rifle already being banned by Obama, school shootings did not stop. They increased. Now they want to ban certain guns that use bump stocks OR that hold to much ammo. And what will that do? Nothing really. If your looking to kill people, a new law or banned weapon won't stop you from killing.

Well the last few mass and school shootings these people were allowed to get guns legally. So your point is loss.

Now kids will just bring pistols to school. Now you say "Ban all guns!". Sure, then kids will bring knives, pens, poison, bombs...etc. Anything can be used as a weapon. And things like poison or bombs can kill more than an assault rifle! Even a car can kill many if rammed into them. Laws won't stop people from killing. Maybe they will lessen the amount of fatalities, but it doesn't stop killers.

Lessen the fatalities sound like a good idea. At least victims have a better chance to get out of the way.

We need to invest into having children at school take yearly mental health exams. Invest into having schools get access to students phones or social media pages. These are things that will help. We also need to protest the FBI, police, principles who knew about these killers but never did much about them. Guns.... guns are removing a piece of the body that doesn't stop the body from still doing what it wants. You have to go for the head (so to speak).

This all takes money and Conservatives don't like to spend money. Move on.

Notice the teens don't protest the fact that more kids are killed in a year from driving under the influence or while texting then kids killed in a school shooting combined. Sometimes these drivers killed kid passengers or other kids in other cars. And what about suicide? So many bullied kids kill themselves every year and no on protests to change those things. Heck in the innercity kids are dying every day and no one blink an eye.

Then you are free to protest. But I doubt you care. So move on. Also adults do the same thing. And don't care.

People are focused on the wrong issues and fixes. And really, knowing the bible says the world will get worse, none of this may fix or stop any of it. Our country is morally going bankrupt and these types of kids are going to continue this stuff because they are more and more messed up as every year goes by.

Then take care of your own child. And dont blame public schools for screwing up your children. When it's your fault. As far as I see the teen are just trying to bring mass shootings to people's attention. Because no body, Especially Christians cares if they are safe.

Your just wanting to support the removal of a weapon that kills. You should be removing the killer instead. Because without the gun, the killer simply kills with something else. We cannot ban everything in the world because someone will use it to kill people. We have to take care of the killers instead.

As they say in mythology of the hydra, you can cut off its arms all you want. But it will just grow back. You need to cut off the head. In this case our screwed up culture is the head. We need to change our culture to how it was. Because modern day views/morals are tearing the country (and the young apart). If I were a betting man (I'm not), I'd bet all the money in the world kids will continue to kill kids at school forever and it will get worse. Even if some even managed to ban guns. No ones focusing on the problem, just what the problem does after it becomes a problem.

Seriously... you are right... "american morals / values" are a major point in this problem.
But in this case you should be aware that a lot of these "american morals / values" consist of "everyone different is an enemy. The other is out to destroy you. Destroy them before they get you. Guns are great and never any problem."
You ignore that a lot of this is based on "Christianity"... a very special american, right-wing, conservative type of Christianity that considers themselves under constant attack, under siege, in danger from... well, yes... "the other".

Good for you for making that distinction.

You say that you "pay the price for [...] accepting more world views." But if you look closely, you don't "accept" other worldviews. You condemn them, you keep condemning them, you try your worst to fight them to death. In many cases, literally.

The Right in this country is full of fragile psyches with lots of repressive tendencies and lack of self-insight.
