I don't know if it's my OCD again or what, but I'm so scared that I'm going to get a terminal disease and die. I'm scared of dying. I don't know what it's going to be like or what I will have to go through to get to that point. I have 3 daughters who are all still young and I'm not ready to leave them yet. I have been having some muscle weakness and it's just terrifying me. Please will y'all pray for me. I need to get closer to God again. I have become somewhat distant. I'm just scared. Thank you to anyone who reads this and prays.

The General Mental Health Forum is now a Read Only Forum. As we had two large areas making it difficult for many to find, we decided to combine the Mental Health & the Recovery sections of the forum into Mental Health & Recovery as a whole. Physical Health still remains as it's own area within the entire Recovery area.
If you are having struggles, need support in a particular area that you aren't finding a specific recovery area forum, you may find the General Struggles forum a great place to post. Any any that is related to emotions, self-esteem, insomnia, anger, relationship dynamics due to mental health and recovery and other issues that don't fit better in another forum would be examples of topics that might go there.
If you have spiritual issues related to a mental health and recovery issue, please use the Recovery Related Spiritual Advice forum. This forum is designed to be like Christian Advice, only for recovery type of issues. Recovery being like a family in many ways, allows us to support one another together. CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I will pray. I used to have an obsession that I had a brain tumor and would be dead. I even thought I knew the date, and when that day came and went I felt so much better. God wouldn't take you from your daughters unless He had a great reason. Just give it God!

I could hardly sleep last night. I just kept thinking that I was showing symptoms of having ALS. Then to make matters worse I had a dream that I went to hell. In my dream it was the end of times and God was waiting on me and I signed something of this girls or something like that and then God sent me to hell. I feel sick to my stomach.

I am praying for you now. If you know Christ as your Savior, God will not ever send you to hell, Christ paid that full price for our sins. God cares for you deeply, the cross is the eternal proof of that. You can go to Him & pour out your heart to Him, He is our refuge, Psalm 62:8. God Bless you.
