• The General Mental Health Forum is now a Read Only Forum. As we had two large areas making it difficult for many to find, we decided to combine the Mental Health & the Recovery sections of the forum into Mental Health & Recovery as a whole. Physical Health still remains as it's own area within the entire Recovery area.

If you are having struggles, need support in a particular area that you aren't finding a specific recovery area forum, you may find the General Struggles forum a great place to post. Any any that is related to emotions, self-esteem, insomnia, anger, relationship dynamics due to mental health and recovery and other issues that don't fit better in another forum would be examples of topics that might go there.

If you have spiritual issues related to a mental health and recovery issue, please use the Recovery Related Spiritual Advice forum. This forum is designed to be like Christian Advice, only for recovery type of issues. Recovery being like a family in many ways, allows us to support one another together. May you be blessed today and each day.

I get scared whenever I think that maybe Satan did something, and then I'll think, but maybe it was part of God's plan - and vice versa. I think the unpardonable sin is accusing the Holy Spirit of being like Satan, and the Holy Spirit Is God. So I say "I don't know!" "I don't know!" because I'm so scared, and even when thanking the Father I'll add "Thou Knowest," to say 'unless it isn't Thee.' I get so scared of committing it, even though I don't think doing that would be it...

Sweetie, I don't think we can ever know those things... but, we can trust that God does, and that He knows what will happen and is ultimately in control, even of the things Satan does.
I think the 'unpardonable' sin is rejecting God completely, and I am not sure anyone can do that finally unless they are at the point of death... before that there is always the possibility of repentance.
God loves you, sweetie, and that is what you need to concentrate on.

My son came to me one time because he was angry with me. He had gotten mad at God and was so afraid that he may have blasphemed. I told him that just the fact that he was so afraid that he had commited that sin was enough to let me know he had not. I believe those who blaspheme, are so far from God that they no longer have a conviction about their sin. You are so afraid of sinning in that manner, you have not. It's gonna be ok darlin, just trust Him totally and remember, the bible says that the devil goes around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. Don't let him torment you. You tell him in Jesus name to flee, and he will!
James 4:7
Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.:prayer::hug:

I John 4:18
There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love.

Psalm 22:23a
You who fear the LORD, praise him!

Psalm 23:4
Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.

Psalm 27:1
The LORD is my light and my salvation— whom shall I fear? The LORD is the stronghold of my life— of whom shall I be afraid?

Psalm 34:4
I sought the LORD, and he answered me; he delivered me from all my fears.

Psalm 55:
5 Fear and trembling have beset me;
horror has overwhelmed me.
22 Cast your cares on the LORD
and he will sustain you;
he will never let the righteous fall.

Isaiah 41:10
So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.

41:13
For I am the LORD, your God, who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, Do not fear; I will help you.

Isaiah 43:1
Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have summoned you by name; you are mine.

Isaiah 54:14
In righteousness you will be established: Tyranny will be far from you; you will have nothing to fear. Terror will be far removed; it will not come near you.

I John 1:9
If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

If you say that the work that is done that is Godly (Godly work is always good) is not, then you are blaspheming the Holy Spirit (the Holy Spirit is who is the worker here now).

Just don't say who did the work until you see if it is good. You don't have to have an opinion.

The Bible also says: give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus. (I Thess. 5:18)

So just thank the Lord when you see good happen. Then you don't have to make a choice. Besides, unless you are a judge, you don't have to judge if it is from the Lord or not.

Winter, please stop riding yourself so hard. Jesus died and then rose again to set you free--- free from fear, amongst other things.

God is merciful to us, so we don't get the punishment we deserve. He is gracious to us, so we get the blessings we don't deserve. He does this because he loves us.
