The best way to protect yourself from scams both online and offline is to be aware of the different types of scams that are out there, be observant, and to remember that if something looks too good to be true, then it probably is.

Whenever possible try to ask questions as well. The more that you know, then the better off you are.

If something seems too good to be true I don't even communicate anymore about it.
