^^ is a college kid! I was when I first started at my University. There were so many people and you never quite knew what the teachers expected of you *feels nervous remembering it* You get used to it pretty quickly. What are you studying? *interested*

^ doesn't mind working with temperamental machines I disliked all my computer based subjects at highschool You should learn how to fix corrupt hard-drives so you can tell me how to fix my laptop

^ is bashful hehe Yup, I have to buy a new one and install it and all...I've resigned myself to that fact..it's better than hurting people But I still hope to retrieve all my files from the broken hard-drive in some way I hadn't created a back-up disc for a month

^ should know I've heard that it's possible to retrieve files from a broken hard drive, but I don't know how...

^ should know that I've heard the same... that's why I have hope. I think you can insert a part of the hard-drive into a functioning hard-drive or somewhat...meh I don't know. I'd rather just buy a whole new computer - that'd be the easiest option *is lazy*
