  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I know you guys don't know me very well, but I need a favor...

My cat seems to be injured or something. I discovered on Thursday that she was limping really really bad. We took her to the vet and he said she didn't have any broken bones and that it could be a bruise or a sprain. He gave her a shot and some pain pills and told us she should be ok by Saturday.

Well, once the shot wore off, she was back to limping. The pills don't seem to be doing a thing to help her, and every time I see her she appears to be limping on a different foot. I'm really worried that this could be something serious like bone cancer or something. We're taking her for X-rays on Monday to see what the doctors can find.

So please say a prayer for her health. She may be a cat, but she's my best and only friend. She's only six years old... I can't lose her this soon. :(

Thank you...
