What is the deal with this movie? It's one of those movies that you watch the preview and go "huh"? It looks kinda hokey, what do you guys think?

CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I think it looks hilarious, a few friends of mine saw and told me it was terrific. I've been meaning to see it but none of the movie places around here are showing it.

God jokes with me, so I don't see anything wrong with a movie like Saved.
Someone posted a line from the movie.
"First God created man, then God created .45's to shoot all of the whatever!"
That was the only thing I heard from the movie, and it was on this forum.
So jokes swing both ways.

I saw this movie when it was in the theatres around me. It was funny, I understand that some people get offended when other people put jokes with God. In my opinion I'm sure God loves jokes and loves it when people tell jokes. Why would he be serious all the time? Anyway, I recommend people see this movie because it is GREAT! I think I might even buy it! lol

I haven't seen it, but I liked Mandy Moore's other movies A Walk to Remember and How to Deal.
