I finally watched this movie about teenage Christians, produced by REM's Michael Stipe.
It was mildly entertaining, but nothing special. I was expecting something more intense. This was like an 80's teen movie, not even on par with John Hughes (16 Candles, Breakfast Club, etc).
It's like one of those movies where they take some group and make them the enemy. In this case it's Christians. In other movies it was things like popular cliques, rich kids, jocks, adults, etc. At least in Breakfast Club the jock is shown to be a human.
In this movie the Christians are human only if they engage in sex and surround themselves with non-Christians.
This was more on a level with Porky's.
