Hebrews 7:25 Therefore He is also able to save to the uttermost those who come to God through Him,
since He always lives to make intercession for them.
Uttermost: panteles [G3838]* from pas [3956] fully and completely;
*see second post.
as in:
Revelation 21:5 And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things G3956 new.
And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful.
and telos [5056] to the end, as in
Matthew 10:22 And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: but he that endures
to the end G5056 shall be saved.
1 Corinthians 1:8 Who shall also confirm you unto the end blameless in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Hebrews 3:
14 For we have become partakers of Christ if we hold the beginning of our confidence
steadfast to the end,
15 while it is said:
“Today, if you will hear His voice,
Do not harden your hearts as in the rebellion.”
Hebrews 6:
7 For the earth which drinks in the rain that often comes upon it, and bears herbs useful for those
by whom it is cultivated, receives blessing from God;
8 but if it bears thorns and briers, it is rejected and near to being cursed, whose end is to be burned.
9 But, beloved, we are confident of better things concerning you, yes, things that accompany salvation,
though we speak in this manner.
10 For God is not unjust to forget your work and labor of love which you have shown toward His name,
in that you have ministered to the saints, and do minister.
11 And we desire that each one of you show the same diligence to the full assurance of hope until the end,
12 that you do not become sluggish, but imitate those who through faith and patience inherit the promises.
He always lives to make intercession for them.
This involves the response of those who are led by the Spirit
Romans 8:
14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God.
15 For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received
the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, “Abba, Father.”
16 The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God,
17 and if children, then heirs—heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ,
if indeed we suffer with Him, that we may also be glorified together.
26 Likewise the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for
as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.
27 Now He who searches the hearts knows what the mind of the Spirit is, because He makes intercession
for the saints according to the will of God.
