No this is where you are wrong. I will not die of unrepented sins. I have turned my back on those sins. I do my best to NEVER sin again.
.

Sister, think about what you are saying...you actually believe that when you die EVERY SINGLE SIN THAT YOU EVER COMMITED WHILE BEING A CHRISTIAN YOU ARE always AWARE OF, YOU WILL HAVE ACNOWLEDGED AND CONFESSED AND REPENTED OF???
what if you die without having a second to do this or what if you are unaware of the sin? Please this thinking is not logical.
Also then your Salvation is dependant on YOUR WORKS so Scripture says then..."Christ died for nothing".

i must go if you want to continue i will do it later.
Blessings of wisdom understanding and insight overflow in you all in Jesus Precious Name!Amen!:amen:  PTL!

Are you saying you 'are perfect' in all you do,and in your faith wisdom insight understaning, and all your works sister?

The scripture is saying BE made perfect by the Blood and BE perfected BY AND IN your faith, by The Author and Finisher of our Faith. This happens in part when we accept Him to live in our hearts for He becomes our means of Salvation, not by ANYTHING we do other that the choice to accept Him as our Savior. He is the Author and FINISHER of our faith, we are not.

Be Blessed!:crossrc: :holy:

I never said that our salvation relies on our performance. I'm not even sitting next to the guy that said, "Our salvation relies on our performance." It is fascinating how you could extrapolate this from my writing to you.

I said that we are, in fact, perfect in Christ. I'm saying that the Bible says that we are not only are perfect, but can also act perfect in the sight of God and men. I'm saying that the Bible says that we can be free from sin and in fact are free from sin when we walk in the spirit of God's forgiveness.

I though this clears up what I aid to you.

God bless you!

Yes the Bible says, "If we say we have no sin, we decieve ourselves and the truth is not in us." (1John1:8)

What is being addressed here is the sin nature of our flesh. Paul speaks a lot about this in Romans and how to conquer the flesh. This verse is not saying that you can't be free from sin.

It is written...

Being then made free from sin, ye became the servants of righteousness. Romans 6:18

But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life. Romans 6:22

If believe that you are free from sin once you are forgiven. To believe that we aren't free of forgiven sin is what Kenneth Copeland call sin consciousness.
I believe that the Word is clear in that we can be without sin. When we go to God to be forgiven, He takes our sin away by the Blood. If it is taken away then you no longer posses it. Actually the blood of Jesus has paid the price for all of our sin, past, present and future. Still, we must appropriate our forgiveness by confessing our sin to the Father and believe that he is faithful and just to forgive us of our sins.

The error most make when discussing this subject is not discerning the difference between being a sinner and being in sin (having unforgiven sin in our lives).

Sinner = not being born again.
Sinners are headed for hell, no matter what they do if they don't become born again.
Born Again = Christian = Righteousness of God, headed for heaven.
Righteousness of God = Right standing with God.
Born Again + sin does not = sinner.
Born Again + sin = Christian with unforgiven sin.
Christian with persistent unforgiven sin = backslidden Christian.

Well meaning Christians, exercising a sense of false humility, often say that no one is perfect. But God says the following....

Jesus said unto him, If thou wilt be perfect, go and sell that thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come and follow me. Matthew 19:21

Finally, brethren, farewell. Be perfect, be of good comfort, be of one mind, live in peace; and the God of love and peace shall be with you. 2 Corinthians 13:11

Let us therefore, as many as be perfect, be thus minded: and if in any thing ye be otherwise minded, God shall reveal even this unto you. Philippians 3:15

That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works. 2 Timothy 3:17

But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing. James 1:4

:)

these scriptures say BE Perfect...yes ONLY by the Blood we are made to be perfect, But we are underconstruction by The Holy Spirit and this is a lifetime job of finishing...i will look up the greek later if you wish but i must go.

While you all are still discussing all this,I have told
Wizard Ogre ,who posted on MW,and asked someone to help him find release from a hurt and angry heart,I told him God loved him,and healed my broken heart.

Wonderful!!:)

Now I know Im not the best christian in the world, but at least I was there doing what I could. While you all were here arguing with each other, who are already saved.

No, the fire is now out and we are debating what the bible says. this is how we can learn.

Now why doesnt anyone join me,perhaps you could help me not to become so bewitched.Show me how to do it.
Im doing it alone right now.I love them, and must do what I can to uplift them, because God gave them to me as friends,to share his great love with them, and I have lots of it bubbling over.

Azzy, no one is doubting that your intentions are good. I know that you are trying, but you must be strong yourself before you can witness to others.

Galatians 6:
1 Brethren, even if anyone is caught in any trespass, you who are spiritual, restore such a one in a spirit of gentleness; each one looking to yourself, so that you too will not be tempted.

You need to be strong enough to avoid temptation yourself. I am a recovering druggy. As much as I love those who I call my friends, I can not go to their house and witness because I am not strong enough to avoid the temptation of drugging myself. Instead I pray that God sends someone their way. I believe that God will answer my prayers and will be answered by Him when He knows that their hearts will be open to receive them.

Im not trying to justify witchcraft,I dont have all the answers, and ,yes, the bible is right.

Yay!! That is good news and I am happy to hear it.

But Im trying, and Im trying alone,I bless, and bless, and bless, and bless,,,and the wicked one hates it.
So long as I have breath in me,I will both love and bless.

As long as the devil has you in bondage he is loving it. The longer he has you practicing witchcraft, he is rejoicing. The longer he has you not following the Word he is loving it and this pains me.

And my love will last for ever, because it came from God.
My hands may be dirty, but my soul is clean.

Nobody said not to love them. I am concerned about your own salvation and your own spirit as well as the pain that the path you are going down will bring you.

So go walk a mile in my shoes, and perhaps you will see
a little better.

Hon, I am a member of an interfaith board and I share the scriptures to them everyday. The owner of the site is a friend of mine and he is a pagan. The thing is, he respects me enough not to try and convert me. I am not tempted to follow that path anymore. I was a pagan when I first went into that site, I now show the Word and teach what the Lord has shown me. But I am not taught by them nor am I tempted to do so.
My home and the ones I lean to for comfort and teaching are Christians. They are the ones I go to in order to get the strength and support I need. This I what I have offered to you.

Im not going to live forever you know, and it would be nice to have my friends prayed for when Im gone.

I pray for all of the pagans. My entire calling is to help those who are coming out of or those who are searching for the Truth.

By someone who loved them as much as I do,who wont try to shove the gospel down thier throats, because you can easily choke a person if you are not carefull.

Azzy, my entire intent was to help you. To keep you from more pain. It was all done in love and I am sorry that you took it anyother way. I am still praying for you.

But what do I know,Im an evil satanic witch.

Nobody called you evil or satanic.

Agreed.

I know that this is a hard thing to do and I myself am not perfect in this, far from it. I believe in doing the best that I can, but and this is a big but, God promised that He would not allow us to carry more than we can handle. In other words, if my best is not working then I need to work harder. This does not mean that we will never sin again, it only means that He made it possible to be perfect and if we fail, we fail on our own.

1 Cor 10:
10 Nor grumble, as some of them did, and were destroyed by the destroyer.
11 Now these things happened to them as an example, and they were written for our instruction, upon whom the ends of the ages have come. 12 Therefore let him who thinks he stands take heed that he does not fall.
13 No temptation has overtaken you but such as is common to man; and God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will provide the way of escape also, so that you will be able to endure it.

Hmmm...this is where i have to disagree...pls name one person other than Jesus who has sucessfully...."acts perfect in the sight of God and men"...Perfect is a tall order and impossible for us to act perfect 100% of the time.
This belief is false.

Yes we can be free ONLY BY The Blood. Not free by/of not sinning ever again...this simply is imposible until we are with The Lord!

Sorry this was bugging me so im really going now!;) :D

Because I have repented of all of my sins, I am perfect in the eyes of God.

Matthew 5
47 "If you greet only your brothers, what more are you doing than others? Do not even the Gentiles do the same?
48 "Therefore you are to be perfect, as your heavenly Father is perfect.

Greek translation:
brought to its end, finished
wanting nothing necessary to completeness
perfect
that which is perfect
consummate human integrity and virtue
of men
full grown, adult, of full age, mature

Romans 12:
2 And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect.

Php 3:
14 I press R150 on toward the goal for the prize of the upward R151 call of God in Christ R152 Jesus.

15 Let us therefore, as many as are perfect, have this attitude; and if in anything you have a different attitude, God will reveal that also to you;
16 however, let us keep living by that same standard to which we have attained.

Hebrews 5:
9 And having been made perfect, He became to all those who obey Him the source of eternal salvation,

Notice that it says that we must OBEY in order to have eternal salvation?

possible but not probable. We are capable of being perfect, are we? No. But we are to DO OUR BEST to be perfect.

In defense of my actions which have been greatly debated.

2 Timothy 4:
4:2
Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine.

OK what do these words mean?

Greek translations:

Reprove:
to convict, refute, confute
generally with a suggestion of shame of the person convicted
by conviction to bring to the light, to expose
to find fault with, correct
by word
to reprehend severely, chide, admonish, reprove
to call to account, show one his fault, demand an explanation
by deed
to chasten, to punish

Rebuke:
to show honour to, to honour
to raise the price of
to adjudge, award, in the sense of merited penalty
to tax with fault, rate, chide, rebuke, reprove, censure severely
to admonish or charge sharply

Exhort:
to call to one's side, call for, summon
to address, speak to, (call to, call upon), which may be done in the way of exhortation, entreaty, comfort, instruction, etc.
to admonish, exhort
to beg, entreat, beseech
to strive to appease by entreaty
to console, to encourage and strengthen by consolation, to comfort
to receive consolation, be comforted
to encourage, strengthen
exhorting and comforting and encouraging
to instruct, teach

Longsuffering:
patience, endurance, constancy, steadfastness, perseverance
patience, forbearance, longsuffering, slowness in avenging wrongs

Doctrine:
teaching
that which is taught
doctrine, teaching, concerning something
the act of teaching, instruction
in religious assemblies of the Christians, to speak in the way of teaching, in distinction from other modes of speaking in public

Now I am called to be at teacher:
Teacher:
in the NT one who teaches concerning the things of God, and the duties of man
one who is fitted to teach, or thinks himself so
the teachers of the Jewish religion
of those who by their great power as teachers draw crowds around them i.e. John the Baptist, Jesus
by preeminence used of Jesus by himself, as one who showed men the way of salvation
of the apostles, and of Paul
of those who in the religious assemblies of the Christians, undertook the work of teaching, with the special assistance of the Holy Spirit

Sister, it appears then you are relying on YOUR repentance(works!) to "be perfect" and not The Blood of Christ!...so "Christ Died for nothing"...pls study again Galations...we are all weeding out our false beliefs noone has perfect beliefs either...Confess and Believe Jesus Christ died for our sins rose on the third day He iscoming again...He will then SEAL us and deposit the Holy Spirit in us to walk with us day by day. It will take a lifetime of His patience with us to make us ACT perfected and sinnless...noone will atchieve it until we are with Him!

But yes we already have been perfected (by attonement)ONLY by THE ATTONING (for ALL OUR sin.yest.tod.for) Blood sacrifice of Christ our Savior ALONE, not by our acting perfect OR NON of us would be saved!!!. In other words, that does not mean that it is possible for anyof us to 'act' perfect 100% of the time until we are with Him.

Should we repent and obey, obviously we do the best we can but it is a lifetime occurance we are all LEARNING non of us are 'there yet' .PATIENCE- a fruit!.

But NOONE other that Jesus Christ HimSelf can 'acts' perfect all the time.:holy:

Ge 6:9
These are the generations of Noah: Noah was a just man and perfect in his generations, and Noah walked with God.

Perfect is translated to mean "blameless." Meaning:
what is complete or entirely in accord with truth and fact

Now what is truth? Jesus is Truth:
John 14:6
Jesus said to him, "I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me.

Noah was perfect and blameless ONLY BY HIS FAITH in God...not by his OWN actions...Noah was STILL righteous EVEN though NOAH GOT DRUNK etc...please do not believe Noah didnt commit sin. He did you do and i do. ...

Also something to important to note....Noah's son was 'sinful', BY EXPOSING Noah's sin and exploiting it to others ....rather than 'covering in love' as scripture teaches his other brothers correctly did!~What are we to learn from this???Read it here(Gen9:18-29)

ONLY BY THE BLOOD "ATTONEMENT'(look it up) ARE WE FREED FROM THE CURSE OF SIN. This doesnt me we never sin it means we are free from 'the curse'.
Please ...
if there were one person that never sinned other than Jesus, perhaps you would have an arguement.... but there simply isnt.

Show it to me in scripture. Funny how you keep coming up with what you THINK the Word says, but are yet to be right once. How about showing scriptures?

Isn't that one of the rules? Right after only WoF's are allowed to debate here? That scriptures must be presented to back up claims?

Another question, what would you call teachings says that you can practice that which God hates and be a christian as well? (I can't believe you are defending this after all of the scripture that has been posted). True teaching? If it is not true it is false. DUH......

You are yet able to dispute any of the Word I have posted, but you still wish to attack. I wonder......

ok...i got a couple of commentaries on that particular verse which i have on email to send to anyone who 'doubts' their Eternal Salvation with 'unbelief'. Until recently i had the same struggle so i have alot of resources to give me and you more faith!PTL! This is way off topic but noone seems to care so i will share if its ok with everyone!

Let me just say...
Eternal salvation is Eternal!
Everlasting life is Everlasting!
God's word is Truth, ALL OF IT! PTL!

...Scripture may appear at times to contradict itself sometimes but it doesnt, it is our perspecitve/interpetation we must correct. im not 'there yet' neither is anyone....the point is we must keep learning and growing and refining our faith everyday...humbly admit when we are wrong and be greatful to God for the new wisdom, insight and understanding we recieve!PTL!

God's wonderful Gifts of Salvation is eternal in everyway!PTL! Scriptural doctrine must be tken as a whole, nor as scattered proff textx. One or two scriptures we do not fully understand must not be used to undermine/deny the one or two hundred passages about ETERNAL Salvation which are VERY CLEAR.

There are others who were truly saved and have backslidden. Yet, God is faithful. He teaches that He deals strongly with His own children(Heb12:5-8) They cannot leave God without chastisement unless they are not God's children. God may even take their lives if they continue purposfully sinning without repentance, but God's promises are true and Salvation IS ETERNAL! Chastisement is God's job by the way, we are not to assume we have been given that position.

God bless i have more to share on eternal salvation, if anyone is interesting send me your email.
Also, i am not quite a Calvanist or Armenian...somewhere in between...i believe we choose God and also Chooses us knowing that we will eventually choose Him. God is not limited by time.
Love in Christ Jesus!:groupray: :holy::prayer:
Hello, it has been a long day and I will reiterate that we can slide backwards and lose salvation, when you read the bible notice words that end with eth, eth denotes continual action. He who loveth me, continual, will obey me. and many more that I just cant pull out right now but bottom line is that if I take it all together I come up with it is possible to lose salvation. God is longsuffering and I do not believe this happens overnight or one sin but for those who continue in sin and lose the witness of the Holy Spirit to the point sin no longer bothers them are in eternal danger.

ok well then with your perspective, if you can 'perfectly succeed in your works' in 'every letter of the law' you will be let in because if you commit one you commit all...but you will be the only one there if you can succeed noone else has done it...!~
Warning...if you rely on your works and not Christ's blood attonement ALONE" ..."than Christ died for nothing"

pls send me your email and i will send you the Truth i have also recently learned about Eternal salvation!
