There is no proof that my brain exists either, noone has ever saw, tasted, smelled, touched or heard my brain, so scientifically i don't have one. :D
Never had an MRI or CT scan? However, it's true, we know it's there.. we just really don't know as much about it as we think we do.

But what's the point with this?

Hey~

I have no doubt you've seen & felt your God. If you hadn't you wouldn't follow Him. However, I have seen & felt my Gods too, & am always in Their presence. I've asked Them for advice, & been given it. I've asked Them for help, & been given it. They guide me in my dreams, as well as in my day to day life. These are the reasons that my Gods are the true Gods, & that gives me the right to say that your religion is false. Where the difference comes in, is that while I have the right to say your religion is false based on my own experiences within my religion, I don't say that yours is false, because I believe that the Divine is bigger than whatever little religion we, as humans, decide to box it in. All Gods are one God, but the paths are different. Regardless of what you, as a Christian, & I, as a non-Christian, know in our hearts & souls to be true for us, we still cannot prove to others, beyond a shadow of a doubt, that our God(s) exist. Therefore, our religions are still solely based on faith.

Love & Blessings, Cerridwen*

I hope in time you will understand that worshipping the sun and the moon is wrong, and that religion isnt about personal experience.
you are a nice girl  and if this is your opinion about religion I shall respect it and wish you luck on your spiritual path to salvation.

Hey~

Thanks for your respect, you have mine as well. I do need (apparently) to clarify a few things, however. I don't worship the sun & moon. I worship the Divine as a God & a Goddess, who are represented, among other things, by the sun & the moon, respectively.

re•li•gion \ri-"li-jen\ n 1 : the service and worship of God or the supernatural 2 : devotion to a religious faith 3 : a personal set or institutionalized system of religious beliefs, attitudes, and practices 4 : a cause, principle, or belief held to with faith and ardor — re•li•gion•ist n

Are you implying that you are not a part of your religion based on your personal experiences with God? Faith can be based on nothing more than personal feeling.

P.S. You're a nice boy, too :D

So you're not in your relgion based on your personal experience with God?

Odd. I have always been told that the whole point in being Christian was to have a loving and personal relationship with God, & to have Jesus as your personal Lord & Savior.

Are you debating that?

Why are these words dangerous?

...for me. I'd add that there's no reason the Divine can't be poured into any vessel you need to respond to Her/Him in. If you can't contact the Divine except through Jesus, then Jesus is the form the Divine takes. For me, I can't contact the Divine unless I go through Isis, Nut, and my other Gods.

There are Satanists, and there are devil worshippers, and then there are people who are devil worshippers who think they are Satanists.

Finally, there are people who are neither but get a kick out of pretending they're one of the above to get a rise out of fundies.
