I wouldn't say that certain industries are being controlled by Satan...
however I am tired of every single movie being a horror movie. It's all about blood, sex, more blood, maybe more sex if the scary monster isn't close yet, more blood, hell, scariness, etc... I don't like being scared at all. I hate action movies because it's all yelling, shooting, sex, blowing stuff up, more yelling and shooting, etc. At least comedies give you a laugh.
Good thing youre not required to see those movies then, huh?
Yeah, it's a good thing. It's a bad thing though that almost every single movie is either action or horror. for every 20 minutes of violence or cursing (I don't mind cursing, just scenes where 20 minutes is devoted to people cursing at each other) there's 5 minutes of almost-porn. Difficult to find a movie that doesn't have that.Good thing youre not required to see those movies then, huh?
What kind of movies are you watching, pray tell?Yeah, it's a good thing. That was a summary of most action movies I'd seen. Odd thing is, they're rated PG-13 normally, despite the violence and sexual...ness.What kind of movies are you watching, pray tell?
They have a point though. It makes it difficult to enjoy cinema when the majority of the options are movies one doesn't want to see. Whatever happened to good horror movies with good plot, good acting, and realistic events (as in not 'hey, we have five minutes before we're killed, what do you want to do?' 'let's get it on!' 'but what will we do for the other three minutes?')
Movies are not getting any worse today than they were years ago. We just think it's getting worse because we only remember the good movies from yesteryears and forget about all the crap.
I guess...I don't mind horror...I don't react the same way as other people do...I actually watch a lot of horror but in an artistic point of view. I don't think "That is soooo sick/disgusting"...I'm fascinated by the skill it took to make it look like that.
