Samurai Warriors

I about died of shock and awe when I heard this game was coming out. I'm a fan of the Dynasty Warriors series, and having a similiar series set in Sengoku Jidai Japan is brilliant. And what's more, Hattori Hanzou, Kenshin Uesugi, Oda Nobunaga are all (playable?) characters. Just wow. This game will be quite awesome.

Eh, I was a big fan of the Dynasty Warriors series but they all kinda got repetative. I dunno if I'm going to bother getting Samurai Warriors, basically Dynasty warriors, just Japanesse.

im thinking of getting it. i have dynasty warriors 3 but didnt bother with 4 because i figured it was just going to be more of the same. at least Samurai warriors will have different characters.

not to mention different types of combos. and they said that they are going to have ninjas as well as samurai. so that ought to be interesting to see. seeing how ninjas are usually instruments of silent death and not straight out in the open combat.

From the looks of it there's still going to be enormous amounts of killing in the ninja missions (at least from what I've seen of the screenshots where the character is Hattori Hanzou), but they occur in castles and the like instead of the battlefield.

Yes the gameplay will probably be as repetitive as ever, but whereas in Dynasty Warriors I barely knew the history behind it, Samurai Warriors contains some of my historical figures as playable characters. So for me, that is a big feature.

I never really got into the Dynasty Warrior games. I found them too repetitive, but this game seems a like it might be better.

i have been dying to play a game that will strike my interest. and lately i have been settling for second best like an idiot. for example true crime streets of la. dont get me wrong roaming the city and bustin criminals, hassling citizens, and abusing bystanders (old men, old women, gangsters, wannabes etc), was definitely amusing but i got kind of bored of the story line.

I love killing people fom no good reason so maby i will get it but what is it on
all i have is an Xbox and a Game Cube and soon win have a BGDS win it comes out my Mom will get it so she can get the new Animel Corssing game on it.
