Hello brothers and sisters.
I am attending a new church and during the message the pastor compared salvation to a gift card. God gives you a gift card, and you can redeem it anytime.
The Bible clearly teaches:
a) Salvation is from the Lord - Jonah 2
b) Faith is a gift from God - Ephesians 2
c) Repentance is a gift from God - Ephesians 2
So in light of these verses from Scripture, How can one make this argument, I do not understand.
The natural man is:
a) a Slave to sin
b) In the Kingdom of Darkness
c) Without the Holy Spirit
d) Dead in his trespasses
I don't see how anyone can connect the dots.
