You JUST SINNED when you typed that statement.I have committed no sin since my repentance from sin.
My salvation won't be sure till the day of the Lord's judgement.
Present. Whoever DOES not believe. Yes, all who have not believed are condemned. Why? Because they don't believe. Don't try to twist it to say unbelievers are saved. It simply doesn't say that anywhere in scripture.I offer this Scripture, which REFUTES your erroneous opinion.
John 3:18 - Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son.
2 Thess 2:12 - and so that all will be condemned who have not believed the truth but have delighted in wickedness.
Condemnation is based on those who have not believed. Guess what tense that is.
As I clearly noted, it applies to you.No, that's what I said about you. Go back and look.
Either you don't read very carefully, or you just aren't all that familiar with the English language.Present. Whoever DOES not believe.
What is the tense for "have not believed"? That's where Scripture refutes you.Yes, all who have not believed are condemned.
No. Because they "HAVE NOT BELIEVED".Why? Because they don't believe.
Why are you having such a hard time understanding these 2 very simple straightforward verses?Don't try to twist it to say unbelievers are saved. It simply doesn't say that anywhere in scripture.
Show me a verse that says non-believers will be saved.I quoted:
"John 3:18 - Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son.
2 Thess 2:12 - and so that all will be condemned who have not believed the truth but have delighted in wickedness.

Condemnation is for those who HAVE NOT believed.
This means NEVER believed. You're the twister one who wants the verse to say what you opine; that those who have not believed "recently" or some such qualifier, but the Bible gives NO qualifiers on "have not believed".
If a person has NEVER believed, they "have not believed".
If a person used to believe, you CANNOT say they "have not believed". Because they HAD believed.
I'm always amazed at how Arminians misread verses.
Quite the opposite. So does that mean you repent daily? Hourly? Minute by minute?
If one has "turned from" ALL darkness, and unto the Lord, any sin from the past is just a memory. If salvation is lost at every sin, how can we have any confidence that we are really in Christ? Perhaps we missed confession of something we didn't know was a sin.
Also a presage, or picture of water baptism. How do people become Jesus' sheep? They "enter through Him", a metaphor for believing in Him.
The sheep Jesus spoke of do, as they know His voice.Do all sheep follow their shepherds? That's why shepherds have shepherd crooks. To get the stupid sheep out of trouble. For not following the shepherd.
You have concluded that your judgement has already occurred. ie. eternal security.Only one problem. There is NOTHING in any of these verses that backs up your last statement. Zero.

I hope you can see that the antithesis of "believing the truth" is "delighting in wickedness".I quoted:
"John 3:18 - Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son.
2 Thess 2:12 - and so that all will be condemned who have not believed the truth but have delighted in wickedness.
I do believe it.You JUST SINNED when you typed that statement.
Sin includes not believing what Jesus taught. He taught that those given eternal life SHALL NEVER PERISH. And you aren't sure of your salvation.
It is obvious that your repentance isn't complete. Or finished.
So, you have never sinned since your conversion? Have you been saved longer than a week?Quite the opposite.
One turn from sin, if real, is all that is necessary.
If one has "turned from" ALL darkness, and unto the Lord, any sin from the past is just a memory.
"Turn from all sin."
Doesn't that cover the things long forgotten?
I think so.
My salvation won't be assured till the final judgement on the day of the Lord's return. So, you have never sinned since your conversion? Have you been saved longer than a week?
Happily, that sanctification occurs when the atoning blood of the Perfect Sacrifice is applied to us...at water baptism into Christ's death. (Rom 6:3-6)Wow, even the holiness Church's I was raised in allowed that you will need to be sanctified before you quit sinning entirely.
Me think there's a difference between being freed from sin and never sinning again. Why did Jesus tell us to pray "forgive my sins" in his model prayer? Now I can believe that you haven't committed any minor sins, probably haven't danced around drunk on Christmas Eve with the lamp shade on your head. But when it comes to the big ones, like saying a cross word to your wife or judging a brother or sister too harshly, I'm more than a little skeptical. It's been my experience that the people who think they don't sin, either find excuses why the things they do wrong aren't sins, and/or they just put up a good front, and are actually some of the worst sinners. My own mother believed in entire sanctification at least in theory. And while she was certainly one of the best persons I've ever had the pleasure of knowing, she certainly was not perfect. And I'm guessing that if you have a spouse or kids, they would confirm that you aren't either, at least if I asked them when you weren't around. My salvation won't be assured till the final judgement on the day of the Lord's return.
I "turned from" sin fifteen years ago.
Happily, that sanctification occurs when the atoning blood of the Perfect Sacrifice is applied to us...at water baptism into Christ's death. (Rom 6:3-6)
The next verse provides the result..."For he that is dead is freed from sin." (Rom 6:7)
I praise the Lord God of heaven and earth for my release form the chains of sin.
The ONLY condition for eternal security is to be given eternal life. John 10:28. And the ONLY condition for receiving eternal life is to believe in Christ. John 5:24, 6;47, 1 John 5:11, 13.Such "cooperation" is just another way of saying that we are saved by what we DO. That is works salvation.
[QUTOE]But there is always a condition.
...The ONLY condition for
I can't understand why you think that.Me think there's a difference between being freed from sin and never sinning again.
It was because it was still the OT and he was speaking to OT men.Why did Jesus tell us to pray "forgive my sins" in his model prayer?
It is your duty to be skeptical. Now I can believe that you haven't committed any minor sins, probably haven't danced around drunk on Christmas Eve with the lamp shade on your head. But when it comes to the big ones, like saying a cross word to your wife or judging a brother or sister too harshly, I'm more than a little skeptical. Just for examples: Immersion in Jesus' Name sets people free from the power of sin and of the enemy and of the world and of the flesh.understand why
I don't believe we are slaves to sin. However even Paul said "the things I don't want to do that I do"... I've lived too long to believe sinless humans exist.Think about this for a second...
If we in the NT are still slaves to sin, the only ones who profited from the death and resurrection of Christ were the sacrificial animals.
