I have a degree of Sympathy with that view, but only to a point.
Here in the UK the Army has invested heavily on a process called Natural Church Development (NCD). Not an Army invention but something that has been used in 50,000 churches of all denominations worldwide. If you are here regularly, you'll here a lot about it because I am NCD leader in our Corps and genuinely believe it is the best thing to happen to the Army in decades, maybe even longer. Booth would have loved it.
Not got time to say much about it just now because out to do the pub round but stick around...it's amazing stuff.
