After all that I said, this is all you have to say in response. That's very telling.

After all of the SCRIPTURE I provided, you simply rejected
and ignored the Words of Christ to put forth your delusion
of a synergistic "gospel".

That is what is telling.
You did not even try to REFUTE anything I said...
instead, you just ignored Scripture to preach a synergistic heresy.
Typical "fruit" of those following the BROAD WAY to destruction.

Well, you are welcome to your synergistic heresy.
I see no reason to correct you again.

Oh boy, I haven't read Piper in a while but I'm pretty sure I remember he discusses Eph 1:3-14 several times that give adequate affirmation to unconditional election.
I AGREE that God's election is unconditional. Howevert, the pertinent question is about what His choice is FOR or TO. No one is answering this question.

God the Father elects and predestines His people to come to faith by the belief in the person and love of Christ(God the Son) who died for His people, all of this planned within God before the foundation of the world.
OK, so I will present YOU to another poster about people who believe that election is TO salvation. Thank you.

For by grace you have been saved through faith; and this is not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; Eph 2:8
This is a great verse, but doesn't even address election.

btw, the "it" in the second part of the verse refers back to "have been saved" or salvation.

It is salvation that is the gift of God.

OK, now we're (maybe) getting somewhere. On what basis doe God choose who will be saved?
But our God is in the heavens;
He does whatever He pleases.
— Psalm 115:3
Not an answer.

Whatever the Lord pleases, He does,
In heaven and in earth, in the seas and in all deeps.
— Psalm 135:6
Also not an answer.

also we have obtained an inheritance, having been predestined according to His purpose who works all things after the counsel of His will,
— Ephesians 1:11
And again, not an answer.

I guess you just don't understand my question.

So I'll ask it another way.

God chooses people FOR or TO what, specifically?

I hope that is much clearer.

Why are you changing the question?

How do you make the LEAP from "enabled" to "elected"?
---------- From my previous post which you ignore ------------
You didn't explain how you LEAPED from "enabled" to "elected", so there was nothing to reply to.

BTW... what translation are you reading that speaks of "enabling"?
New International Version
He went on to say, "This is why I told you that no one can come to me unless the Father has enabled them." From biblehub.com

The word translated "given" in the verses above (Strong's G1325)
is used over 400 times in the New Testament ... and it is ALWAYS
translated as "give", "gave" or "given".... NEVER as "enabled" as
you pretend.
Go complain to the translators of the NIV.

What translation are you reading... or are you just making up words
to suit your argument? Don't you know that ADDING to the Words
of the Bible is showing the "fruit" of being unsaved?
Still insinuating that I am unsaved, huh.

Then I will ask you (again) name ONE PERSON who is saved
and was NOT "chosen" or "elected" before the world began.
I've arleady explained to you about who the "us" of Eph 1:4 refers to. Didn't you read it? Or are you not listening and learning?

Eph 1:19 says "us who believed". That destroys the myth that the 1:4 is about being chosen for salvation. It is saved believers that have been chosen.

Didn't you read my whole post? I REDEFINED my question since the 3 verses you quoted failed to answer my question.

You didn’t redefine it. You changed it after I gave three fine answers. It went from what basis does God choose, to what purpose does He have for them. Not the same thing.
