I've done a bit of reading on this forum and decided to start posting. I did notice a lot of hostility and anger and hope that I am never the cause of such negativity, Inshallah.

what a pleasant wish my name is annette, it is nice to meet you.

sadly, as you have seen, the board becomes very heated sometimes and people say unfortunate things... i think the important thing to remember is to report it immediately and be patient while the mods look into it (it usually takes them about 3-4 days)... the bad thing to do is try to insult the person back, because that pulls other people into the argument.

it is really difficult to hold ones tongue sometimes though!

I have been trying to bring him to Christ for a year. but, he won't!

I do think that God has a special heart for Jews though, so who knows. And, through the power of prayer, hopefully he will one day become a Christian

My family disowned me upon conversion so I think it will take nothing short of Allah SWT to convince them otherwise. Inshallah I will continue to pray for them and also try to re-establish communication with them.

Thank you for the response. I was reading the Jewish questions thread tonight and she mentions her boyfriend attended Temple...I believe...anyways it led me to believe he was Jewish so that's why I questioned her. It was dated June 6th I believe...so she's mentioned it fairly recently.
