  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

I think we ought to be especially remembering our forces over there at this time. 5 of the 7 bridges over the Tigris have been closed in expectation of possible backlashes in revenge for his capture. I feel this is an exceptionally dangerous time to be a soldier in Iraq

HAPPY DANCE!!!!!

What a wonderful early Christmas present. Getting that monster out of circulation was one of my Christmas wishes. Maybe now I'll get that new stereo as well. ;)

Seriously, though, congratulations to the soldiers who caught him, and cheers to the people of Iraq who can look forward to a brighter future without the spectre of mass graves and torture chambers hanging over them.

And, of course, to the now-certain re-election of a certain president...

Do they really need anymore reasons to rally together? They seem pretty upset with the US anway. We're at war with them after all.....what are they going to do because of his death that they aren't already trying to do for other reasons?
