I don't know if you can have that answered by another... I've heard points made about it on both sides and as far as I know, there is nothing in the scriptures or SOP that deals specifically with it. Pray for wisdom on this matter and God will lead you to what is His Will.

Is it a sin to have sex on the Sabbath?

Why would it be? Or to put it another way, why do you think it might be? Do you see something about sex that is outside the purpose of the sabbath in your mind?

From an Adventist perspective, if you see the 7th day of creation as the first sabbath, do you think that it would have been sinful for Adam and Eve to take joy in the one God made for them on the first day after their creation?

They were told to be fruitful and multiply. They were naked and unashamed. There is nothing to indicate that sex was the least bit sinful.

Incidentally:

1Co 7:3 The husband should give to his wife her conjugal rights, and likewise the wife to her husband.
1Co 7:4 For the wife does not have authority over her own body, but the husband does. Likewise the husband does not have authority over his own body, but the wife does.
1Co 7:5 Do not deprive one another, except perhaps by agreement for a limited time, that you may devote yourselves to prayer; but then come together again, so that Satan may not tempt you because of your lack of self-control.
