Yes it was very kind.

I am afraid I don't have any updates on the health. I don't normally correspond with him I just asked him because I thought they might be violating his copyright. He said it was fine.

I read a book recently that says that the Claims that the SDA chruch make about the change of sabbath to Sunday


1. the catholics did not Change the Sabbath or the 10 commandments.
2. the sabbath was changed early on.

Not a big issue to me, there is no direction in either the NT or the OT to keep Sunday.

My understanding is that Saturday can serve instead of Sunday for Catholics, which suggests that when rulings on this were made, it was considered OK to worship on that day.

I'm studying this subject right now. Sofar I know that it's the Catholics themself that claim to have changed Sabbath to Sunday.

I have heard the catholic claim myself. How ever? History bears another story. The Catholics have a tendency to claim a lot of things that are not true.

1. like they are the true chruch? what a load of garbage.
2. they have the power to change Gods law. yah right
3. They alone are the way of Salvation. I thing Jesus had something to say about that.

Yes, the Roman Catholics did not change the Sabbath or the 10 commandments. Your can read the 10 commandments in the Roman Catholic Bibles much as in any other translation. Most people who claim that the Roman Catholics changed the 10 commandments do so on the basis of the Catechism, which abbreviates the commandments. But the catechism is a teaching tool it abbreviates lots of things. Some people even claim that they changed the numbering of the 10 but in fact they have never been numbered and there have been different ways of numbering the 10 since the time of the Jews.

People were keeping Sunday from the second century which is really before there was any organized Roman Catholic church. They also list popes that go back to Peter but that list was produced much later and has no historical accuracy or documentation. Roman Catholics have made the claim that it was the Roman Catholic churches authority that moved the gathering from Sabbath to Sunday but it is another claim like the immaculate conception which is merely the claim of the church and its tradition.
