How can you say God is not real because He can't make a rock bigger than He can lift?

I know which day the Sabbath is where I live and I keep it as a sign of a creation and a Creator. I also keep it to testify that it is the God of Creation that I worship and love. Now if I lived on the other side of the world I would still know which day the Sabbath is in the same way I would know which day is Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.

Under the Old Covenant people were put to death for polluting the Sabbath day. I don't believe they were guessing which day it was nor do I believe God's chosen people who live around the world guess which day the Sabbath is nor do they guess which day Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday are.

This is not rocket science...

The thing is, you don't have to guess at all. Nothing is difficult about this. God created Sabbath at a specific time based on the sunrises and sunsets in a certain part of the world. You can look it up online and keep God's intended Sabbath. You choose to ignore it in favor of your beliefs about an imaginary man made line.

I still don't see how it can be a holy day on one side of this line and a normal day on the other.

I don't know about an imaginary line but I do know that God created a seven day week of which the seventh day has been blessed, sanctifed and called holy and until this very day all around the world we still celebrate a seven day week. Amen and amen...

Love the username Kira Light. I'm a big fan of Death Note.

Now getting at the matter at hand, every calender does have a seventh day regardless of where the country is.

The idea is to rest at the END of the week to refresh yourself physically and spiritually That was the original purpose of the Sabbath to begin with.

There is an end of the week everywhere, so I am not seeing where your point of contention is coming from.

Death Note ftw :)

I disagree that Sabbath is just some end of week deal to refresh spiritually and physically. This is kind of a happy little spin we see people put on it today. It was always a matter of life and death for Israel. Breaking the 4th commandment carried the penalty of death. Today we see the SDA's preaching that if you don't keep Sabbath you will burn in temporary hell. It really isn't some happy little gift from God to help us relax and recharge. The stakes could not be higher and the penalties could not be more severe.

The issue with the international date line is simply that this period of time in which God instructed Israel to rest takes place from sunset to sunset on the other side of the world. It is hard to imagine that you can change this time frame simply by moving around on earth. This creates how many different Sabbaths? Which one would you keep if you were living on the moon? Eternity is at stake here. I say keep the right one if you really believe it matters.
