I have posted a request for a sabbtarian section on the "suggest new fourms" section. this would be for all sabbatrains, seventh-day baptist, Seventh day chruch of God and any other group who keeps the sabbath. I would like to request that all members of this group post a positive response and suggestion to help bring that to reality.

You might want to change the name because in history Sabbatarians were also those who held Sunday as Sabbath. It's definition still includes Sunday also.

1.a person who observes the seventh day of the week, Saturday, as the Sabbath. 2.a person who adheres to or favors a strict observance of Sunday. –adjective 3.of or pertaining to the Sabbath and its observance.

Yes that would be a great idea and most needed.

Dont forget all the Christian Messianic Israelites & Messianic Jews also keep the 7th day Saturday Sabbath. There's at least a good 30 million 7th day keeping Christians in the world, like the bible said we would be a remnant.

I dont fit under the catergory of 7th day adventist because that's only one denomination of it.

Ya there's 1. Church of God, 2. United Church of God, 3. SDA, 4. SD Baptist,5. SD Evangelical like St Peter's Cathedral in Hawaii, 6. Messianic Israelite, 7. Messianic Jew, there's 8. Covenant Church of YAHWEH, 9. Assemblies of YAHWEH, 10 The Christ's Assemblies, 11. Christian Israelites of no denomination, 12. and hundreds more independent churches that changed over from Sunday to the 7th Day which I could list all day long like Restoration Ministries, Open Bible Ministries, Sacred Truth Ministries, Church of Israel, Laporte Church, and a great deal many more which dont fall under any of those denominational categories and teach & worship on the 7th day Sabbath.

All sabbath keepers would be welcome, not just adventists

I was just speaking with someone from Faith of the Covenant Church which is another 7th Day keeping church. Yet I've been on websites of at least a dozen other churches over the last month that teach & practice the 7th Day and are not on this list, just to give you an example. They DO NOT claim roots from the 7th Day Adventist church, just like Church of God never has, neither has 7th Day Baptists, etc.

Many of the groups on the list that you posted above have, in common with Seventh-day Adventists, roots in the Millerite movement of the 1800s, including the Church of God (Seventh Day), for example. Also, some of the Millerites, including some of those who later formed the Seventh-day Adventist Church, actually first learned about the Sabbath from Seventh Day Baptists (a much older denomination).

My understanding is that the first group on the list, the Advent Christian Church (which also arose out of the Millerite movement), is not a seventh-day Sabbatarian denomination but a first-day one. The Primitive Advent Christian Church split off from them, and I'm not sure if they keep the seventh-day Sabbath, but I suspect not. I'm not sure about some of the others.

OK Thanks, I really only found that out on a forum & can't confirm them all. Yet I do know there are so many many more than what's on this list. I also found something strange, a first, was the "faith of the covenant" church, though they believe in the 7th day , they calculate it new every month when the 1st day will begin based on the new moon sighting. Very strange & as far as I know unbiblical, and a major minority fringe.

Yes, the lunar Sabbath model. They are rare but I have known some.
