Hi, I'm new to the board, but I have a prayer request. We took my 14yr son to doctor on Monday (4-19) for an unrelated problem and out of the blue he tells the doctor about a problem he's been having. She asked to speak with me after seeing him. It seems that my son has an enlarged ball (3x the normal size), and that he's had it for about a year. She said that she is about 90% sure that it's cancer. We see the urologist today (4-21). I gave my son back to God a long time ago, but I'm finding this extemely difficult. I've been reading up on testicular cancer, and it has a high cure rate if found early. I'm worried about how long he's had it. Please be praying for him! He's an athletic, healthy, young man. He's trying to be brave, but I think he's scared. My husband is trying to be strong too, but instead he just comes off grumpy. Women can cry when we are worried or upset, what a blessing. Thank you!

Hi everyone, This is an update to an earlier post. I asked for prayer for my son. We saw the urologist yesterday and then the surgeon. Although my son will need surgery, we were officially given a cancer free diagnosis. My family has gone from the edge of despair to the highest mountaintop in the last few days, but I owe it to God. I am reminded once again how precious we are to Him. I don't know why my son was spared, but my heart and prayers goes out to those of you that are still battling the cancer enemy. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. Without prayer warriors - - who knows what I would have found out when I took my son in to the doctor?

My Papa is battling cancer right now and he doesn't know God... he knows who God is but he thinks there's nothing after you die. He thinks that you die and that's it. I think more than anything, since it's inevitable that he's going to die of cancer I would like prayer that he would come to accept Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior and die peacefully in his arms... that would be so amazing...

We ask that you might bring him to a genuine faith and belief in yYour Son, and not just a faith that comes from knowing he is going to die. Give him a steadfast faith in You for the time he has left, so that it may glorify You, and so that he truly sanctifies a part of his heart for You, Lord. Show him Your grace, mercy, and strength. Grant him strength, peace, wisdom and courage to live out the time he has left in a way that will show he desires to be with You, lord, and desires to love his family and be there for them as best he can, right up until the end. hi everybody unfortunately my aunt has gotten worse since i last posted :\ the breast cancer mestasized and traveled to her cerebellum and lung and liver she underwent surgery wed to take out the cancer in the brain. She's not a christian but rather a Buddhist and even worse she lives on the other side of the U.S from me

My friend, Peter, has been diagnosed with terminal lung cancer - about a month left. He's only 46. He is the ex-boyfriend of my best girlfriend, Dorothy.
