Hi everyone. Blessings to all of you.
I'm new here - this is only my second post: do bear with me while I figure the forum out; it's way more sophisticated than the one I have come from!
My husband, Mark, has had cancer for several years now (a rare, unpronouncable type). He is currently very ill. He is not a believer, but praise Jesus in that he has started to ask about God and prayer!
Please pray for him - for his salvation and his healing.
I pray that all those on this thread will be touched by Christ and His healing power.
Jesus' love and peace on every one of you here.
Your sister in Christ.
Charis.

I will say a prayer :prayer: for you and Mark. What a good sign and what an opening to God that he has inquire about God and prayers. Take advantage of that and he should see a priest as well. I don't know how advanced the disease is; but once you are sure that he is ready, suggest for him to see a priest. Cheers

Jean-Marc.
PS My brother has cancer and he is a non-believer. I have started a 90 day communion novena and tonight was the 40th consecutive day of receiving Holy Communion for his conversion, his salvation and mine as well.

My grandpa has been fighting a rare form of cancer in his face for almost 4 years now and right now we are keeping our fingers crossed that a spot on his face does not break open because if is does then he will bleed to death. So I guess my request is to pray that the treatments work the way the doctors are hoping and to pray for my grandma to keep her strength who has to take care of him and feed him.

unfortunately, too many ppl in my life have cancer right now...if possible, I would appreciate it if someone could pray for my friends, both named Barb (one has breast cancer which has spread to almost her entire body and the other suffers from lung cancer~they are both wonderful, spunky ladies and I love 'em to peices!!); also, sharon, suffering from breast cancer; also my half-sisters' husband, bob is back from remission..there are varying degrees of severity for each..but...i cannot tell you how hard it is to keep hearing this kind of news, I know you guys feel it too...thank you all & God bless you all...those battling w/ cancer will definately be a high priority on my prayer list from now on...it just has to stop~and God can make it stop! :prayer:

in christ, wd

Please pray for this boy, Robert Dell. He has hip cancer I believe. He is undergoing chemo at the moment. If it hadn't been for the cancer, he would be in my classes. He has to repeat 8th grade next year if he survives. I'm thankful for his health because the doctors weren't giving his parents much hope until a couple of weeks ago when they told them that he was going to be able to keep his leg :) I'm so thankful because even though I dont personally know him, he is a very nice person and he is very smart. It brings tears to my eyes to think that he is suffering so much.

I Pray all cancer patients are healed and that all of you find peace and courage to believe in healing.

Please Pray for Cherry Cola, my dog he is only 4 and I did Pray it was not cancer but it is. He is miserable and I am doing everything I can but it is lymphoma.

Cherry Cola is my only friend and my little baby-I don't have kids I just have Cherry Cola and if anything happens to him I doubt I will ever believe in God again.

I Prayed to St. Peregrine for it to not be cancer and St. Francis and St. Rocco.

He has cancer now. I can't understand it. It's cruel to make people Pray to you and then not deliver a cure.

I really hope that there is some way of me believing again because I am so scared that we really are alone and there's no hope at all.

Cherry Cola has lymphoma. Please don't let it kill him and let us all be cured and be healthy of all sickness now and always.

I Pray for that every day yet he still got sick so I don't know what to do.

I thought life was bad now it's so much worse. I'm sorry my baby had ever been born and I am sorry I was ever born. Life is too painful. There are too few joys to make up for the sadness.

I don't mean to be awful, I Love God but I don't understand Him. I am so heartbroken I'd rather die than go on like this but I would never kill myself so I am stuck with the pain.
It hurts too much I am trying hard to be strong for Cherry Cola and believe that God will cure him but it's so hard when he is so sick. :(

I think it's ridiculous that people say "He's just a dog" when I Love him as a child.

My best friend's dad (the dad's name is Jack) has cancer. The doctors have given him a year to live and this week he has been worsening to the point where we didnt think hed make it through Tuesday night or Wednesday night. He's strengthening now though and (despite the fact that the doctors think it may have spread to his brain) we are all praying for either a miracle healing or a painless end. Either way... pray that it is easy on the family.

Angelic Jedi, you are not the only one who feels that way..I actually have a couple of friends who feel the same way about their pets (they even place them above some humans as far as how much they love and care for them) but please do not give up on God...He is with you and your family~always. Psalm 55 might be a good read for you..trust your cares on Him, AJ...He is always there with you...your walls ever before Him. And helpme & alfcantor as well as all who've requested prayers :prayer: I believe He will deliver your loved ones from the cancer that has invaded their bodies...may the Lord comfort you and your family and friends in this time of need

My dad has liver cancer which is not eligible for a transplant, chemo, or even experimental drugs. They sent him home to die.

But thanks to all the things God has put on this earth already like fruits and vegetables we are going alternative and with the healing power of the Lord we are gonna beat this.

Hes only 51 yrs old and its not his time to go according to the Holy Spirit in me.

There is power in prayer.

Please pray for us.

Thanks and God bless.

Chad
