My friend's dad passed away due to cancer at 3:15 today (mon 3rd april). Not exactly what to do, but please could you pray for this family. my friend is a christian, im not sure if her father was or not. please could people pray that god will be with this family at this tragic sad time. that they will feel his loving prescence, and comfort, and i can do whatever i can to help my friend. please pray they can get through this. thanx judy.

We do not deserve to die from this illness.

[Abstract Devotion]

I posted a while back that we found out that my grandmother had lung cancer.. and that there was nothing that anyone could do for her.... she passed away thursday morning....peacefully.... i thank God that she is with Jesus now.... just miss her more than anyone will ever know .........

Please pray for my mother in law Barbara. She was operated on today for breast cancer. She also had her lymph nodes removed because they were also positive for cancer.

Father God, be merciful unto Barbara and all those who suffer from various forms of cancer. Be merciful, hear our prayer and deliver all of them from this sickness, In Jesus Name, Amen

i had only put "i am praying for you" and you had put "thank you for your kind words."... i don't know how many days i have poured out endless amounts of garbage of babbling on this board, and i have had no one respond.. and i was so much in confusion that all i had said was "i am praying for you" and that seemed to be an encouragement..

i have to tell you... that encouraged me... how many times i have prayed, and been so angry. i don't understand why God is taking the strongest away--at least, that's what it seems like, right now. the most encouraging, faithful, deeply routed people all around me are being taken.. and one after the other, i am reminded of my selfishness. here they are going to be with God, and be sickless, and be healthy in heaven, and have no more pain, and i selfishly pray that they not leave me...

i pray--you don't know, how fervently i pray that you not be able to leave your child yet. that he see God give you two a miracle. so that he can look up at God and say "i have something to believe in. you healed my mom. thanks God...."...

hey folks..

my friend is going thru her 3rd bout of cancer. her neice just finished a 5 year fight w/leukemia.

the 2nd time she was scared. now she feels defeated. she has been such a joy to me, to have as a friend. i love her dearly. and i miss her because i haven't been able to spend as much time with her. the cancer started in her throat. it is now in her brain.

would appreciate it hugely if you would pray for her.

news is not so good right now.. she is going thru her chemo and radiation together. she is beyond recognition right now, and she is not seeing out of the eye the cancer was behind.. it's a little thing to lose your sight, when you still have your life though..

i know that if she were to die, she would go to heaven. i have absolutely no doubt about that.. but her nieces are so angry at God right now. they are so hurt. they don't understand why God takes our strong... i don't either.

Prayers sent for all. I hate cancer. My Granddad died of it and my Mom nearly did. She was considered terminal by one Dr but refusing to give up she found another Dr who was willing to try an experimental treatment on her. Betwen that and a lot of prayers she beat it and has been cancer free almost 7 years.

She is convinced that all the people praying for her is what saved her life.
