I just wanted to ask for prayer for my dad, who was diagnosed with cancer back in July of last year. Tomorrow he goes to the hospital for a PET scan and CT scan and I am asking for prayer that he will scan cancer free and that God will give him a good report of healed. His name is Al. Thank you.

My earthly father passed away a few years back from cancer of the liver. A few years before that I lost a wonderful friend to lung cancer. It's tragic to loose those most loved and those that gave love. However, I know now the good Lord and the Heavenly Father will not let these good folks suffer. I pray for all those suffering from cancer and their families to know that God's gift is to not allow you to be in pain or suffer to long. Believe in him as I did get on your knees and ask God's will be done. CFanessa

I talked to my mom yesterday and found out that my cousin was basically sent home to die.We knew this was just a matter of time; but, now they tell me her son (about 35) has cancer, also, and is in about the same condition as his mom. His dad has had heart problems for a long time; and I am not sure how he is going to hold up. Please just say a prayer for the family. I can't imagine the pain they're feeling. It's hard enough on us, as relatives; to sit & watch it happen, knowing there isn't anything we can do. My mom is helping as much as possible; but, she's not strong enough to do it all.

This is such a heartbreaking topic as we have many facing this fight. God hear prayers directed at those with a relative or friend that is in the last stages of this.

My ophthalmologist, Dr. Mark, has just been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer which has already spread to the lymph nodes. He must now find someone to take over his practice. He has been my eye doctor of six years now. The prognosis is not good. Thanks.
