CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I am praying, as I too know the seriousness of this disease. It claimed the lives of three of my grand parents.
However, I do know that Jesus is the healer and more powerful than ANY disease. In 1990, my family was told that my younger sister(@ the age of 10) had cancer and that it was spreading so fast that they thought she wasn't going to make it. They said this was a rare form of the disease and at that point their had been no surviors. Finally, after months of Chemo they sent her home to die telling us that she would not make it past the weekend so we should take her home to make her last hours comfortable. My family rebuked those words spoken over her and claimed her life for Jesus!! Well, long story short.....we walked into the hospital on that monday morning and that team of doctors looked as if they had seen a ghost!!!
Needless to say my Jesus came through for me as Usual!! My sister is now 26!!! AND she has a 5-year old daughter( they told us she would NEVER have kids after the cancer DISAPPEARED)
Ladies and Gentlemen He's the ALPHA & OMEGA!!! WHAT MORE DO I NEED TO SAY!! HE'S OUR HEALER- CANCER IS LIGHT WEIGHT COMPARED TO WHAT HE CAN DO!!!

it is hard for those with a family member to be joyful and laugh like others during Christmas... when someone you love is so sick so my prayer is for all of us with a family member ill and for those of you on the forums dealing with it in your own body.Lord Jesus give us answered prayer

Hello all,
So what is a "Running Cancer Thread" and how does it work? Since I have cancer, I thought I should check this thread out. I have lymphoma though we are not yet sure how far along it is. The symptoms are not yet severe, but I suppose it may get worse. So if I die, is it going to hurt? I guess I should stop asking stupid questions, because I’m sure it will hurt and it probably won’t be fun. Anyway, pray for me and my family. I have a wife of 20 years and three children. Life is an adventure. I pray for those of you who are further along than I am. I pray that one way or the other, the Lord will relieve your pain and give you peace. Peace is something I think I have in abundance, and that is a good thing, because I think I’m going to need it. So on to my next question. What am I potentially in for?
