***Crys out in sorrow*** NNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!! Bakura!!!!!! *sniff* I have to tell you about my weekend! Our family's group went to NC this weekend. It started out as a normal weekend... But then, I almost ruined Sunday morning sevice with one of my keychains! I got sick from eating to many popcorn shrimp a resteraunt. And had my day RUINED when I found out Bakura DIES in the seris!!!! (darn tragic Anime twists) And to top it all off, I found out my Poppa Al has... Uhhh, I think it was... Bacteirial Menningitis(SP)....
I had a bad time exept for Church... *snif* Ryou.....

Whoa, I definitely want Tactics Ogre for GBA now. I saw a movie, and it's almost exactly like FF Tactics was for Playstation. Awesome...

Hi. I'm new here. I like CCM, video games, some anime, cartoons, and classic TV. I love Final Fantasy Tactics. I'm getting Tactics Ogre GBA for Christmas. I heard that they are very similar.

I haven't seen much of Medabots, but I'm not too fond of Saban's anime translations. I love Hamtaro. Some anime I like is Hamtaro, Princess Mononoke, Kiki's Delivery Service, Spirited Away, Big O, YuYu Hakusho(sp?), Zoids Chaotic Century, Cowboy Bebop, and Dragon Ball(not Z). Most of this is on Cartoon Network, but I saw Kiki's Delivery Service on the Disney Channel, Spirited Away at the theater, and Princess Mononoke on video. I want to see some more anime, but much of it is unrated and the rating guidelines aren't always helpful. That's why I usually watch anime on TV. I avoid movies with explicit sexual content, excessive nudity, and vuglar language. Are there any anime shows you recommend?
Actually, Shining Force kind of got me into the SRPG genre and interest in Final Fantasy sparked interest in FFT. Interest in these other strategy games sparked interest in Advance Wars(great game) and interest in these strategy games sparked interest in TO: TKoL.

Ah man, Cowboy Bebop kicks. I was doing pretty well catching the episodes for a while. I loved Mad Pierrot... ahhh, gotta love that "tortured past" anime villain type. lol
BTW, is Advance Wars really that good? It looks somewhat blah to me. *shrug*

Advance Wars is great. Lots of nice units to use and a good amount of modes. The COs are great and using CO powers like enhanced vision in fog of war or instant healing of units when the meter is full is very cool. You can unlock extra stuff buy beating the game and by getting coins in War Room or Campaign modes. It even has turn based multiplayer using only one gameboy(though I haven't tried it yet). You can even create your own maps and play against the computer in Vs. mode. It doesn't have any RPG elements, though. However, If you like games like FFT and don't mind the exclusion of RPG elements, you'll like Advance Wars.
