pretty cool.
GBA rpg...
i'm not to familiar with GBA. try looking around on the internet, for sites that list popular RPGs. usually, if a majority pick the same game, they're usually right.

gamefaqs...hehe had to use that site a lot for dragon warrior VII. that game get's annoying, esp. if you miss one piece of the puzzle and you have to go to all these different worlds to look for that one. :D

Also the Dragon Warrior and Zelda ones for GBC work well on the GBA and are quite well done. . .

Cool, thanks... Which is the best one, in your opinion?

Also, what do you think about Tactics Ogre: Knight of Lodis? I loved Final Fantasy Tactics, and I think this kind of game would fit me. I also love the head2head feature. I think this might be a good game for me. The only downside is the price($40), but I think I'd prefer this single game to two action games, and you get at least 60 hours out of it, so I think it's a good bargain.

The Phantasy Star series looks cool.

Yeah, I looked at that. They say it's an extremely good translation from the original Sega series. I think though that I'm looking for something fresher. I've heard good things about Golden Sun, even that it reminds people of the FF series, which I like. It also looks like it has better graphics, which is another plus for me. I guess I just never got into Phantasy Star when it first came out. My first rpg experience was with FF.

I'm still kind of undecided. I really like Tactics Ogre, but if I had to save money, I'd go with Golden Sun. But if TO has the same kind of drama that FFT had, I think I'd have to go with TO, regardless of costing a few extra bucks. I actually don't think the money would be that big of a deal though.

There are quite a few translation errors in Dragon Warrior III so far. . .the translation staff needed "to take somewhat care the better" ;) (if you don't get the quoted words, that's what a bad translation from Japanese to English looks like lol)

off topic, a REALLY bad translation would be things like these "rules of the road" actually given to visitors to Tokyo for a while, which I found in a book:

"1: At the rise of the hand of the policeman, stop rapidly. Do not pass him, otherwise disrespect him."

"2: When passenger of the foot heave in sight, tootle the trumpet melodiously at first. If he still obstacles your passage, tootle with vigor and express by word of mouth the warning 'Hai. Hai."

"3: Beware of the wandering horse that he shall not take fright as you pass him. Do not explosion the exhaust pipe. Go soothingly by him or stop by the roadside till he pass away."

"5: Go soothingly on the grease mud for there lurk the skid demon."

"7: Press the brake of the foot as you roll around the corner to save the collapse and tires."

LOL :D
