I started an RPG not so long ago, but all of my players seemingly forgot about it or something, and it never got past the first post. I still think it's a good idea, though.

My RPG is a fantasy. Part of it takes place in the real world, with people who are given the gift to see demons, but part of it takes place in a world-between-worlds with parallels between earth and the heavenly relms. Each human being in this parallel world is represented by a tower. Demons enter these towers to find the ruby heart inside and use it to tempt the human by inserting thoughts into his/her mind.

The demon hunters, humans selected to enter this parallel world, are given adamant weapons which grant them special powers that grow along with their faith. And these demon hunters are given the responsibility to battle demons in the parallel world, and when they're in the normal world, try to counter the temptations of the demons.

The parallel world also has some elements that are unique. It's said that even the flowers can be found to be of use (ex: bestowing temporary abilities, teleportation, etc.). And there are animals, such as the rainbow pheonix and the black pheonix. And all players are allowed some freedoms in creating this imaginary world.

Sounds interesting but...I have a bit too many RPGs I'm part of. If I have more RPG time in the future I'll join. For now I'll just watch the story unfold if that's ok.
