This post is meant to bring about some awareness amongst the rest of the body. Some of you all have probably heard about Ronald Weinland, and his wife.
I think it was back in 2006 that Ronald Weinland announced that he was one of the two end time witnesses. I haven't followed this guy from the beginning, so I am not sure when he first started making this claim. Perhaps somebody else knows.
He's made some predictions that haven't come true (which I will attend to in a couple of paragraphs). We all know from Deuteronomy 18 that if a prophet speaks in the name of the LORD and predicts something that doesn't come true, that man is a false prophet.
Just this month, he made the claim that his wife was the second witness.
Now I want to treat this man with all the love that Jesus does, but the fact remains that he is either very deceived, or a liar. He claims that we are right now, and in fact since April 17, 2008, are in the period of the Seventh seal.
He has posted both of his books online for free to download at www.the-end.com and also has a blog at www.ronaldweinland.com. I encourage you to look through his writings prayerfully! He makes a lot of bold, bold claims.

I know that I mentioned his wife, but to be honest I haven't heard anything from her.
http://weinlandwatch.wordpress.com/ is a blog that has been following Weinland for quite a while now. I believe it is written by somebody who used to belong to his church.

Are there any followers of the Weinlands here?
How can we dialogue with the Weinland believers?
When unsaved people read his writings, they may be put off by the "Crazy Church" thing. What ways can we pull those people back to the true Gospel?
Do you know of any other preachers who claim, or have in times past claimed to be one of the two witnesses?
