CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Maybe around Easter. I get Maundy Thursday, Good Friday and Easter Monday off from work. Also, the Thursday after Easter is the first day of summer here in Iceland and I get that off too. So, if I take 3 extra days off the week before Easter and 2 extra days the week after Easter, I get a total of 16 days off from work (including 3 weekends). I'm hoping to be able to use that to go somewhere. Maybe to the States.

Oh yeah, here's a taste of my ever-so-interesting life
2 books on quilt block patterns (Oooooooooooooo)
and a Joseph Pilates' book. Can ya hear my bones a creakin'?
I know, I DO know how to live!
But I love looking for new quilt patterns and then seeing how well, or not, I can do them. And I thought if I could stretch and work my bones I wouldn't hurt so much.
