I'm Blue, but I'm not sure I belong here. I just stopped by to say hi. I'm really in the Messianic Jew forum, but being a former Jr. Soldier and Corps Cadet, (not to mention songster, band member, girl guard, and anything else that would get me out of the house.) -I just had to stop by.

We are a mixed bunch here at Cyber Corps. The Bandmaster is an Anglican! The spirit of ecumenism is alive and well here. All that is required is that youu want to hang out here!

thanks for the invite. I think I will stick around and visit. Does anyone know if there isa website or some other means of getting a hold of old friends from the Corps? I started a "group" at classmates.com hoping someone would bite, but so far it's a no. I would love to catch up with some old friends, and don't know where to start. Any ideas?
(Note:I currently live in Illinois, 2,000 miles away from Oregon, so going by for a visit is not really an option.)

something from the fridge was the name of a band that kinda started and then was degassed last year. was 5 guys from church, but we had different views of what we wanted to acheive as a group. ended up splitting and forming a smaller group with the bass player and a girl from church. that became the temporary comtemporary band. it was formed for the sole purpose of playing at his college fundraiser. as it turned out, we ended up scoring a few more gigs at various events. the final one being at music camp a few weeks ago. was the best performance that we did. can't beat having 120 people sitting there actually listening to what you were goign on about.
i like the name so use it on forums that let me use that many letters. as far as people at church and were in the band are concerned though, the fridge has been degassed and shall never be talked about again!!!!
we did originally start out as "they did things to us" but i am going to be a teacher and it had to many negative connotations!!!!

undecided on what grade as i have done 2/3 as well as a 5/6/7 in prac. both were fun, the older group are better to talk to though as they are more interested in a broad range of things.
also lead the youth group at church so getting some experience in dealing with teens
