I hope our dear friends in the US will share their 4th July celebrations with those of us across the pond. How did you all celebrate?

I hope our dear friends in the US will share their 4th July celebrations with those of us across the pond. How did you all celebrate?

Our church sits on a hill above Kidsville where the fireworks are presented making for a perfect site to come & watch the fireworks....we had hot dogs & hamburgers for 50 cents apiece & free icecream for the community plus several local christian bands & singers.....a great community outreach for us......

Our town had a big parade which our hospital helped sponsor & then there was a Red White & Moo celebration put on by the 3 local dairies with an ice cream eating contest.....I wonder how many brain freezes there were.....lol.....

But, as usual, I worked that day in the emergency room.....so my celebration was limited to a broken foot, several lacerations, one overdose, a couple of severe sunburns & some firework related injuries......thankfully no major car wrecks......
