Are you talking about rock´n roll as the 50s/60s genre (petticoats and stuff), or about rock music in general?Whats the philosophy of rock 'n' roll?

Good question. Some people try to ban it because of the power it has over the emotions. Thats a psychological issue, and a political one. We can see in some contemporary music videos, performers use sex and money to advertise a song and its message. In rock and roll, well I took the philosophy to be one of musical excitement and a thrill seeking attitude to music and its influence.Does music really have a philosophy?

Cybernetics Or Control and Communication in the Animal and the MachineThe lifestyle of "the system"?
Sorry, meaningless questions in my understanding of the world.Firstly, does rock and roll exist, and secondly if it does what is its nature?
For me, this is a semantics question rather than an epistemological one.Is theoretical knowledge possible, or do you have to have experience of it, or "knowledge by acquaintance" like tasting the taste of ice cream - to know what it is really?
I see no need whatsoever for such normative judgements. Is listening sufficint condition to be a rock and roll oficionado, or do drink, cigarettes and wrangler jeans help too?

In order to be a TrueRockAficionado you need to drink, smoke, consume illegal drugs on a regular basis, have promiscuous sex, drive a motorbike, have at least shoulderlong hair, at least three tattoos and an intime piercing. Anybody not fulfilling all these criteria doesn´t count.Firstly, does rock and roll exist, and secondly if it does what is its nature?
