Robert Lockwood Jr., also known as Robert Jr Lockwood passed away on 21st November at the ripe old age of 91. Born in 1915, he was taught to play guitar from none other than the master himself Robert Johnson, hence why he became known as "Robert Junior" Lockwood. In listening to him you could trace a direct path to perhaps the greatest innovator of Blues guitar Robert Johnson whose influence continues to be heard in a lot of modernday Blues players, Eric Clapton being one such musician.
