Let me remind you these words written in the Holy Scripture:
"The righteous shall live by faith." (Galatians 3:11)
Killers will NEVER inherit the Kingdom of God.
One man condemned me in hatred toward God. I told him:
"hatred against the Lord?
Are you kidding?
I even do not hate satan and his followers.
I am sorry to see their destruction in the God's prophecies.
Believe me I do not hate you too.
I just do know who are you....
What are the fruits of the Holy Spirit in your life?
God knows you but do you know Him?"
Brothers, but what are the fruits of Holy Spirit in your lives?
Let me remind you of this Bible passage:
“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, long-suffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.” Galatians 5:22-23
When we study this particular Fruit of the Holy Spirit, we find that it is translated differently in various translations. Some translations show it as faith, while others describe it as faithfulness.
The Strong's Hebrew and Greek Dictionary explains that the term used when the scripture was written would have meant "...moral conviction of religious truth, or the truthfulness of God..." to the readers of the time. I think this definition more closely lines up with the way we would define the word faith, so that is what we will examine here.
What is faith?
NOW FAITH is the assurance
(the confirmation, the title deed)
of the things [we] hope for,
being the proof of things [we] do not see
and the conviction of their reality
-Hebrews 11:1
Faith perceiving as real fact what is not revealed to the senses.
Faith is the "title deed," or, essentially, the proof of ownership for the things that you are still hoping for. The things that, with your senses, you can't even see yet. In fact, you may be seeing the opposite! But, it is your faith that is the confirmation that you already possess it in the spiritual realm. Faith is probably one of the biggest challenges, because it is believing in something that you can not see, long after you thought it would have appeared. That is why faith is not something you have to come up with on your own - It is a One of the 9 Fruits of the Spirit. I have heard a lot of Christians say that they are not sure that they have enough faith for something. Hey, I've even said it myself. But, faith is not something that you just have to scrounge up from inside of yourself. It is something that grows inside of you from spending time with God's Holy Spirit. That’s why I cannot save my friend Walid Saifaddin Ashour, but God is able to give him faith in his heart caused by the Holy Spirit. And this faith in the Son of God will save him. So the fruit produced by the Spirit is more than being faithful, it is having faith! Being a person of faith is what makes us trustworthy.
Never think that you do not have enough faith. The Holy Spirit is your source for as much as you need! So we see that faith is a spiritual gift given to the regenerate only as it is produced in their lives as a fruit of the Spirit. How can a lost man have faith? The Spirit has to be at work in his life before anyone has any hope of believing! In the Holy bible we read that grace and faith are gifts from God and not of works. Faith is not something we can work up on our own. Our continued ability to take God at His Word, to trust Christ, is a gift from the Spirit produced as He works in our lives with the Word of God.
For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves;
it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast. Ephesians 2:8-9
Faith is a gift and also a manifestation of the fruit of the Spirit. The gift of faith is imparted from God through the Word of God, but the fruit of faith is produced by the Holy Spirit. The gift of faith can move mountains, but the fruit of faith is what is required for daily living. The fruit of faith enables us to walk and live by faith. Without this kind of faith, it is impossible to please God (Hebrews 11:6).
We all are to call all men to obey the Gospel/Good News of salvation through faith in the God Jesus, repent of their sin, and trust Christ. But we must do so with this assurance: it is not up to us to persuade a man to believe and repent. It is not up to us to pick the most effective and emotion stirring words to bring him to faith. We do not bring faith out - God puts the faith in!! We preach the Gospel/the Good News of salvation for every Arab and Muslim and Jew and call all to obey it understanding all along that God gives repentance and faith. He gives the increase. All we do is sow the seed of His words!
But who are you?
What are the fruits of the Holy Spirit in your life?
Guys, all check the fruits of the Holy Spirit in your lives because God is going to look at them too and judge us accordingly!
He is the Judge!
What are the fruits of the Holy Spirit?
“But the fruit of the Spirit is LOVE, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control.” (Galatians 5:22)
Love
Joy
Peace
Longsuffering
Kindness
Goodness
Faith/Faithfulness
Gentleness
Self-control
They are NOT in the law!!!
Walking in the Spirit
16 I say then: Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh. 17 For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are contrary to one another, so that you do not do the things that you wish. 18 But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law.
LET ME SAY THIS THIS WAY:
I say then: Walk in the Spirit (WITH GOD, OBEYING HIM), and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh (YOU WILL NOT SIN). 17 For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are contrary to one another, so that you do not do the things that you wish. 18 But if you are led by the Spirit (LIVE WITH GOD AND NOT IN SINS), you are not under the law (YOU WILL NOT BE CONDEMNED BY THE LAW TO DIE FOR YOUR SINS).
19 Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness, 20 idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies, 21 envy, murders, drunkenness, revelries, and the like; of which I tell you beforehand, just as I also told you in time past, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.
22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law. 24 And those who are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. 25 If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit. 26 Let us not become conceited, provoking one another, envying one another.
Let me remind you how God is going to gather the fruits of our lives:
Brothers, God sent prophets to Israel to save all people from His coming WRATH against their crimes/evil deeds. All prophets called people to abandon their sins and turn their hearts to the God of Israel.
Jesus explained us how can we reach the Kingdom of Heaven. He gave the parable of the man/ landowner who hired workers for the day, each at a different hour of the day and when the day was finished he paid them all the same wages (they all reached the Kingdom of Heaven). But some of them were killed. How could people claim obedience as God’s people and still reject His prophets? God repeated His appeal through His prophets to an unrepentant people to save them and give them eternal life. The situation becomes even more critical. The landowner sends his own Son, believing that they will surely respect him. But the tenants/farmers see an opportunity here. They believe that if they kill the son they will then receive His inheritance.
Background: There are 5 main characters in this parable: 1) the landowner—God, 2) the vineyard—our world, 3) the vinedressers — all people, 4) the landowner’s servants—the prophets who remained obedient and preached God’s word to the people of Israel, 5) the son—Jesus who existed always and came to our world to dwell among us and save us. Let’s read now the parable/story said by Jesus to see who can enter into the Kingdom of God.
The Parable of the Wicked Vinedressers
“Hear another parable: There was a certain landowner who planted a vineyard and set a hedge around it, dug a winepress in it and built a tower. And he leased it to vinedressers and went into a far country. Now when vintage-time drew near, he sent his servants to the vinedressers, that they might receive its fruit. And the vinedressers took his servants, beat one, killed one, and stoned another. Again he sent other servants, more than the first, and they did likewise to them. Then last of all he sent his son to them, saying, ‘They will respect my son.’
But when the vinedressers saw the son, they said among themselves,
‘This is the heir. Come, let us kill him and seize his inheritance.’
So they took him and cast him out of the vineyard and killed him.
“Therefore, when the owner of the vineyard comes, what will he do to those vinedressers?”
They said to Him, “He will destroy those wicked men miserably, and lease his vineyard to other vinedressers who will render to him the fruits in their seasons.”
Jesus said to them, “Have you never read in the Scriptures:
‘ The stone which the builders rejected
Has become the chief cornerstone.
This was the LORD’s doing,
And it is marvelous in our eyes’?
“Therefore I say to you, the kingdom of God will be taken from you and given to a nation bearing the fruits of it. And whoever falls on this stone will be broken; but on whomever it falls, it will grind him to powder.”
Now when the chief priests and Pharisees heard His parables, they perceived that He was speaking of them. But when they sought to lay hands on Him, they feared the multitudes, because they took Him for a prophet. Matthew 21:33-46
Jesus said here that He is the Stone rejected by people. He came to them from His Father. But they killed Him. God wants to receive our fruits/holy life but if you kill and commit violence you will NEVER inherit the Kingdom of God. You, a killer, will NEVER be accepted by God to His HOLY dwelling place. God came to gather fruits of our life. If there is only violence or sexual immorality, He will judge us for violence and immorality no matter if you are a Christian or a cow-worshiper. The Son killed by people become the Chief Cornerstone. He is God Himself and equal to His Father. Moreover He is the Judge during the Judgment Day.
That is why let's practice:
love even expressed toward enemies and brothers,
joy because God is faithful,
peace with all people and enemies,
longsuffering for insults and truth,
kindness when you could revenge,
goodness when no one does this,
faithfulness toward God and people,
gentleness,
self-control to control yourself from sinning.
Against such there is no law! Law says the same but there are no laws commanding and forcing you to do this!
