CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Oh oh! He said "you will boil me in water." That would cause a bit of confusion I bet.
If they did boil him in water that would make the statement true, which would mean he should have been fried. If they fry him, that would make the statement false, which would mean he should have been boiled.
It's confusing me as I read it...

The only thing I can think of is when I was young at my great grandparents house. It was an ear of corn.. My great-grandfather had a wonderful cornfield...thanks for bringing his memory back to me at this moment

If you use the least common denominator of 18, then it easy t find that the younest son gets 2 cows, the middle son gets 6 cows and the oldest gets 9 cows when added togther it equals 17.
