So what?
Ringo

Hello Ringo,

I think the issue has to do with the CFR history as being an American Branch of the Cecil Rhodes round table. He was certainly not a benign influence and the follow up of Lord Milner seems to bear this out in the gulags of South Africa etc.
The current issue is that leaders are coming from this group regardless of being republican or democrat and seems to imply a single source or monopoly of perhaps less than noble ideas.

This book by Carroll Quigley called Tradgety and hope gives a rather sound if somewhat dry accounting of the nature of this groups origins.

Thanks, gwynned1. I've only recently been "converted" to conspiracy theory and am now appalled at the number of organizations I've worked at which would be on a power list!

Hello ContentInHim,

Well very often the organization is influenced by competing forces even if the top is one way the janitor can be another. If an organization is a subterfuge and you have joined it for the actual cause then you have infiltrated them!

Sorry, Gwynedd. I just read your post. Thanks for the reply.

I'm not familiar with Cecil Rhodes or Lord Milner. Not to disrupt the thread, but who are they?

I'm wondering only so that I can become better informed about this issue.
