Appearance: kinda scruffy looking, but her clothes are surprisingly clean. Her dirty blonde hair comes to just past her shoulders and clear, blue eyes peer out from beneath the bangs. She wears the garb typical of the Wild Men, but she doesn’t have the stature of the Wild Men and her fair skin is tanned from being exposed to the sun all the time.
Personality: wary of strangers and has the gruff demeanor of the Wild Men, but not to the same extent, but she also has a gentle and compassionate side that comes out when she sees someone in need of help. She usually won’t let anyone get too close to her emotionally, and she’s able to hide her emotions well, so it can be difficult to tell when she’s upset or angry about something until it just bursts forth from being bottled up for so long.
History: Even though Rica is living with the Wild Men, she is not one of them by birth. As a toddler, her village in the Westfold was attacked by the Wild Men and her parents were killed as they tried to defend their home. In the aftermath of the attack, no one noticed the young child wandering around the village, crying, and soon Rica had left the village and was wandering about the plains. She continued to wander around until she curled up near the hills and fell asleep. A small band of Wild Men came across the sleeping child, and instead of killing her outright, they took pity on the child and brought her home to be raised as one of them. Rica always knew that she was different than her adopted family; she looked different than them in the fact that her skin was fairer, and her demeanor wasn’t as gruff even though they did their best to instill it into her. When she was 16, she finally asked her family why she looked different than them, and it took a lot of coaxing, but Rica finally got the truth that she was adopted into their clan, that she had been found on the plains following an attack on a Westfold village. That piece of information only planted a desire to find out more about the Rohirrim, and since there wasn’t anyone around who could tell her the truth, she would sometimes sneak away and spy on a village to watch how they lived. Since that time, her entire outlook changed and the Wild Men almost started to view her as an outcast. By the age of 18, she made the decision to leave. She abandoned the name the Wild Men had given her and took back her given name of Rica. She spent the next couple of years just wandering around the plains of Rohan, learning several trades to help her scrape by as well as learning how to wield a sword and bow.
