The Second Seal: War

3 And when the Lamb opened the second seal, I heard the second living creature say, “Come!”

4 Then another horse went forth. It was bright red, and its rider was granted permission to take away peace from the earth and to make men slay one another. And he was given a great sword.

The Third Seal: Famine

5 And when the Lamb opened the third seal, I heard the third living creature say, “Come!”

Then I looked and saw a black horse, and its rider held in his hand a pair of scales. 6 And I heard what sounded like a voice from among the four living creatures, saying, “A quart of wheat for a denarius, and three quarts of barley for a denarius, and do not harm the oil and wine.”

Remove peace from the earth,, man we have never in my lifetime had such hostile environment

a quart of wheat for a denarius is widely accepted to mean world wide inflation, which I dont think we have ever had like we are currently going through.

of course this could all get much worst and does not neccesalily mean we are in the tribulation, but it sure looks like it is shaping up for it.

when we enter the fourth seal I dont think there will be any doubt

The Fourth Seal: Death

7. And when the Lamb opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth living creature say, “Come!”

8. Then I looked and saw a pale green horse. Its rider’s name was Death, and Hades followed close behind. And they were given authority over a fourth of the earth, to kill by sword, by famine, by plague, and by the beasts of the earth.

a fourth of mankind will be killed, (wont that make those that are calling for depopulation happy) There will be no doubt when this happens that we are in the tribulation.

It is amazing to watch Gods words play out right before our eyes. Praise Jesus !!

The covenant between the Anti-Christ and Israel is the event which defines the timeline! Just in case you are wondering Putin does not look like he is the Anti-Christ, but he does look like he might be Gog of Ezekiel chapter 38, so we are not there yet!

The anti-Christ appears to be the Little Horn of the book of Daniel in chapter 7 (and he has not appeared yet). We are not told when the Ezekiel 38 war fits into the end times timeline, but this has also not happened yet. Also we don't have any specific reference for where the rapture fits into the timeline either, so we are still left not knowing how current events are going to turn out.

Matthew 24:6 tells us, "And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. (so this is the begining, not the end and there is still plenty more to happen before the end, but for the elect's sake the days shall be shortened).

The book of Revelation is in the Bible for two reasons:
1. To warn of what is coming while salvation can still be achieved.
2. To reassure that there is a good ending for Christians, in spite of what we have to go thru in order to get there.
Surely God and Christ and the Holy Spirit have done everything possible to give as many people as possible a chance to live!

We have to do so too.

Revelation Six has certainly begun, and much more than begun much of this chapter has already been fulfilled. The whole scene of revelation 6 and the understanding of it must be built on the previous chapters(Revelation 4-5) and the corresponding sections of Daniel 7. With an understanding of these chapters, the true meaning of revelation 6 is easily deduced. The scene depicted in Revelation 6 is speaking of the investigative judgement conducted by the Lord in the Second Apartment of the Heavenly sanctuary. Each Seal is representative of the periods of time starting at Adam and the beginning of the earth, for which the first seal contained the depiction/representation of the first age of human history. For a detailed study on this subject I would highly recommend reading
tract 15 of Victor Houteff's tract series, as well as Shepherd's rod volume 2 pg. 187-218.

To state briefly though, it is clear by means of comparing scripture with scripture that Christ's examination of the first 5 seals from Revelation 6 has already occurred.

You obviously don't know history. Europe has just ended the longest period of peace for 2,000 years. The Ukraine war is terrible but nothing compared with WW2. Since America's independence, it has been at peace for 17 years. You read that right. 17. War is the normal state of affairs for humanity.

This may be the beginning of the end or it may not. The world stumbles from crisis to crisis but has avoided the horrors of WW2. Anything is possible. But I wouldn't get too excited just yet.

I really do not know. But there are a few things to consider. This all happened around the date 22/02/22. Lots of 2's there, possibly representing the second seal. The actual invasion date was 24/02/22 ... but it is still close to 22. If there was a heavenly order it could well have gone out on the 22.

It is interesting that sometime last year, or the year before. I had a dream at night where I saw Australian Olympians, with an Australian flag (I am Australian), I had a feeling in the dream that Russians were hating them, or at war with them. I saw other things in the dream, but it was so long ago that I don't remember it all exactly, I just remember seeing a ship and people getting on it, as if to flee from what was coming, and me having to stay behind, I saw a hole in the earth covered in leaves, I really have no idea what that means. I also saw people wandering trying to escape what was coming. But it is interesting to note, that in the dream there were Olympians, (it is at the time of the Olympics that this has happened), and there is now a war with Russia.

I actually found the quote to the dream, I put it on this forum, years ago, April 14 2018 I posted the following.

"I don't know what is going to happen. But I have had a couple of dreams (at night) about a war with Russia, and it being linked to the end times. So I certainly have question about what could happen. I thought the phrase was “they’ll know we are Christians by our love”. I don’t think it should be “they’ll know we are Christians by our conspiracy theories”…..

Which is meaningless. 02/22/22 has nothing to do with when the invasion took place on 02/24/22 and the 2's don't mean anything either.

What I was suggesting is the second seal (2) in Revelation is a war, this current war happened around 22nd day, of 02 month of the year 22. We don't know what day the command to initiate the war was, it may have even been a heavenly seal that was opened on 22nd day of 02 month of the 22 year. God is very orderly and has a lot of symbolism, even number symbolism in scripture.

Of course.
The 4 horsemen is a metaphor for war.
It doesn't mean the 'end times' - because basically we've been living in those for 2000 years and counting! (Acts 2, Hebrews 1).

But then we've seen the 4 horsemen play out across history many times. Any time there is war, the price of food rises, diseases spread, death spreads, but ultimately God is still in control.

No, because the first seal is that the rider on the white horse has to be anointed the King of Israel. Has not happen yet. And will not happen until after Gog/Magog.
