Is the 10 days in this passage a literal 10 days or symbolic of some other amount of time?

Revelation 2:
9 I have known thy works, and tribulation, and poverty — yet thou art rich — and the blasphemy of those saying themselves to be Jews and are not, but [are] a synagogue of the Satan.
10 ‘Be not afraid of the things that thou art about to be suffering,
behold! the Devil is about to cast of you to prison<5438>, that ye may be tried,
and ye shall have tribulation ten days;
become thou faithful unto death, and I will give to thee the crown of the life.

Revelation 10:2
‘Be not afraid of the things that thou art about to be suffering,..................

Form of #5399 used in Luke 21:26 of the Olivet Discourse:

Luke 21:26
men fainting at heart from fear<5401>, and expectation of the things coming on the world,
for the powers of the heavens shall be shaken.

#5399 used in 6 verses of Revelation:

Revelation 11:18
and the nations were angry, and Thine anger did come, and the time of the dead, to be judged, and to give the reward to Thy servants, to the prophets, and to the saints,
and to those fearing<5399> Thy name,
to the small and to the great, and to destroy those who are destroying the land.'

Looks like this is where we get the English word "phobia" from.

5401. phobos fob'-os from a primary phebomai (to be put in fear); alarm or fright:--be afraid, + exceedingly, fear, terror.
5399. phobeo fob-eh'-o from 5401; to frighten, i.e. (passively) to be alarmed; by analogy, to be in awe of, i.e. revere:--be (+ sore) afraid, fear (exceedingly), reverence.

Revelation 2:10

Could the "Devil" be symbolizing the corrupt Judean rulers Jesus is referring to in Matt 23, 24?

Matthew 23:34 [Luke 13:34]
‘Because of this, lo, I send to you prophets, and wise men, and scribes, and of them ye shall be killing and crucifying,
and of them ye will scourge in your synagogues, and will pursue from city to city

Matthew 24
9 then they shall deliver you up to tribulation, and shall be killing ye,
and ye shall be hated by all the nations because of y name;

Luke 21:12

“But before all these things, they will lay their hands on you
and persecute you,
delivering you up to the synagogues and prisons.
You will be brought before kings and rulers for My name’s sake.

Revelation 2:
9 I have known thy works, and tribulation, and poverty — yet thou art rich — and the blasphemy of those saying themselves to be Jews and are not, but [are] a synagogue of the Satan.
10 ‘Be not afraid of the things that thou art about to be suffering,
behold! the Devil is about to cast of you to prison<5438>, that ye may be tried,
and ye shall have tribulation ten days;
become thou faithful unto death, and I will give to thee the crown of the life

I would say Jesus identifies the Devil here:

John 8:44
`Ye out of a father, the Devil are, and the desires<1939> of the father of ye, ye are willing to be doing.
That one a man-killer was from beginning, and in the truth not has stood, that not is truth in him..................
