In the Bible names had meanings and were meant to show something about what the person was like. When someone began a new relationship with God his name was sometimes changed to show what his life would be from that time on. For example, God changed Jacob's name to Israel and Jesus changed Simon's name to Peter.
Perhaps the fact that Jesus has a name no one else can know means that although we will spend all of eternity getting to know him better there will still be some aspects of his character that will forever be beyond out ability to understand.
God also promises that those who overcome sin will have a secret name that only they know.
